I’ve been wanting to purchase the Grizzly hoodie for a couple of years now. I finally decided to make the purchase, and upon trying it on. I noticed it wasn’t as thick as I assumed it would be. It is warm and comfortable, but I don’t think I could wear this out in the cold without layering beneath it. It’s definitely a good base layer. I’m looking forward to seeing how the hoodie will stand up to normal wear and tear.
I have had my own full-zip heavyweight jacket for over a year now, and it is such an important piece in my wardrobe I wanted my husband to have one too. It wears and washes beautifully, though I hang to dry it despite it being “dryer-safe” according to instructions. We just built our own house and man I wish I’d bought it for him sooner, as we’ve been outside working through the last two winters, springs and falls. I wear mine as a moisture-wicking warm layer throughout the cold months for hikes and runs, and I’m certain my husband will wear his often as well. The large fits him well, he’s about 5’9” 170 lbs. He likes the thumb holes, very nice and not common in a men’s jacket. Cant wait to venture into the world of WoolX joggers and leggings!
I recently received my Grizzly Hooded Sweatshirt, and I love it! You have paid such care and attention to all the important details, and then some--thank you for producing such a high quality, warm, and super comfy hoodie. I am wearing it daily, and I expect I will until warmer temps arrive, which can be well into spring/early-summer where I live. The size is perfect, by the way--I measured myself prior to purchasing, and chose a size small. The hoodie fits just right over long underwear and a light sweater, which is how I often wear it. Thanks again for making such a great product!
