SOFTEST MERINO YOU'LL EVER WEAR
I love everything about this pullover: it’s heavy, but not bulky or restrictive. Fabric is soft and comfortable and performs great.
I’m please d with it and I’m comfy cozy. Live in the pacific nw and use this for work,I’ve become more sensitive to the cold and I need more insulation without a lot of bulk. Very stretchy and comfy. I don’t wear any 100% cotton layers need the wicking as my job is physically demanding Wool fits the ticket and these guys make great stuff. I predict a good value in the long run. Washing results have been great as expected thus far , been about a month, worn every day. No cons
I love this layer. I switched to a shell jacket with no insulation this year and bought this to test out as my second layer (over just a long sleeve t-shirt). Even though it is heavier weight than other merino wool baselayers it still is relatively light, fairly thin, but feels cozy and sturdy. It layers easily over another layer, and under another layer if needed. It doesn't bunch up or feel too bulky and it keeps me nice an toasty. Just for reference, with my shell, this layer plus a t-shirt I'm warm enough for ~25°+ days. For colder than that, I throw on one more layer. My only wish is that it had thumb-hole cuffs like the crew neck version. I didn't realize that it didn't until it arrived (my mistake)
I ordered the 1/4 Zip Blizzard top and received the shipment. Noticed the sleeve style had changed from my first buy. Went to WOOLX Support and they were able to sort inventory and locate the 3.5" cuff sleeve I wanted. They are extraordinary in this respect, definitely customer satisfaction is their focus.
This is a great product that I highly recommend. I'm not a fan of the zip as a true base layer (I use the woolx glacier for true base layer), but I love it as a warm non-bulk layer to throw over a t-shirt. It's a great casual piece (I'm sure it's a good technical piece too) that looks good around town. No thumb holes which I also like for that more casual piece. Very soft and comfortable, makes you comfortable in a wide temperature range. Woolx knows how to make quality mid/heavyweight merino.
