Finley Zip-Up Jac
Backcountry warmth meets front office sophistication. This jacket looks as good as it feels, and it feels amazing! We’ve created a sleek zip-up that provides incredible warmth in a flattering, sophisticated silhouette that suits any style. Kiss your cold office shiver goodbye, this zip-up is warmer than any cardigan, and softer than all your blazers.
The staff is so helpful and easy to talk to, answering all my questions. The jacket is great, comfy, warm and as I bought a large, it has a nice fitted look. Would have to go up to an XL if I wanted to layer it up as it is fitted but has a nice stretch to it too. I am 5’10” and weigh 160 lbs. and this will be worn all winter long here in Vermont. I spend a lot of time outside and it will quickly become a staple.
My closet is home to many a Woolx product, and I just added the Finley. Hoods on jackets are a waste for me (never wear hoods), and this soft wool cozy zip up is exactly what I was looking for! I sized up to an XL because I wanted it to be a bit roomy (good for layering), and the sleeves are long enough for this tall woman that I can even use the thumb holes (ingenious thumb holes, by the way - much nicer than the common slit in the seam style). The nice styling lines make this a very flattering jacket.
My late father was a chemical engineer who specialized in the application of dyes to textiles. Nothing fired him up like a good blend. Of this fabric he'd have said "Wool for warmth and drape, nylon for durability, and spandex for resilience and comfort." And he'd have been right.
This jacket is very flattering. A little longer than I expected but that's fine. It's a great true black. I just love it and know I'll enjoy it for years.
In his later years my Dad was always cold. I never thought of buying him quality outdoor wear like this. I wish I had.
This company is an American treasure. Live long and prosper, WoolX!
