SOFTEST MERINO YOU'LL EVER WEAR
What do you get when you cross a hoodie and a jacket? . . . . . The Cubby! It's the best of both worlds - zippered pockets (including one inside for a phone/music player), thumb holes, good length for rear-end coverage, warm and cozy, and incredibly soft. It's perfect for lounging on the couch or hiking on a chilly day. I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a hoodie but decided to take the plunge because of Woolx's excellent customer service. A few reviews mention the white branding on the inside of the zippers, which shows when it's open. It's less glaring than I expected and I love my Cubby so much that I don't care. And if anyone is close enough to see it, they're not social distancing. I'm 5'3", 125 lbs, and my usual size small fit perfectly. There's room to layer underneath but it's sleek enough to pair nicely with leggings or skinny jeans. No "chicken legs" here, lol! I washed it once, following the care instructions, and it came out beautifully, no shrinkage. There's a tiny amount of pilling at the thumbholes, which I expected because I wear it all day while typing. I'm working from home and since my Cubby arrived, I've been able to turn down the thermostat a few degrees and stay nice and warm! It's a bit casual for when I eventually go back to the office but fine for work Zooms, and I even got a compliment when I wore it on a virtual first date! If you're on the fence like I was, do yourself a favor and get it now! :)
This jacket is thick and soft. I was afraid it would be rough and itchy, but the fabric is soft like cotton. I also really like the shape of the jacket itself; it hugs my body without being constricting, and the longer hem in the back and hand cuffs are an added bonus. I’m 5’4” 150 lbs and the medium fits perfectly with enough space to layer comfortably. I’m heading to Alaska next month and plan to wear this jacket and the Stella leggings as my base layer under my parka and snow pants while out exploring.
This merino wool sweatshirt surpassed my expectations. It is so soft and the details such as the sturdy metaling zippers, thumb holes, and nice fitting hood are perfect, I spend most of the spring and summer watching wolves in Yellowstone where the temperature can get cold standing around looking through my scope. I just had a wolf embroidered on it and it came out beautiful. Ginny G.
I love this jacket! The first thing I noticed when I put it on was how warm it was. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to layer or wear alone
