Are these considered low-, mid-, or high-rise? What is the length of the rise of the XL size leggings?
Our Woolx midweight Avery and heavyweight Nora leggings are designed with a mid-rise. The waistband should hit a little below the belly button for most people, although that will vary depending on your individual height and build. The model in the white background photos is 5’6” and is wearing a pair in size small. The front rise on size XL from the top of the waistband to the inseam is 10 ¼”, and the back rise is 14 ½”.
Morning! I would like to order Woolx Avery - Women's Wool Leggings and not sure what size to choose: XS or S? Usually I wear XS, but would not it be too small for me according to your size chart? My measures are 26,4 in waist, 36,2 in hips, my height is 162 cm. I would be grateful if you help me. Best regards, Olga.
Based on your measurements and your regular clothing size I do think our size XS leggings would fit you best. We usually reccomend that you go by your regular clothing size as these run very true to size. If you normally wear a women's XS in most of your clothes, an XS in these will likely fit you well.
We do offer free shipping both ways on all returns and exchanges, so if you try any item and it doesn't work out for any reason it is no problem to send it back for a refund or exchange at no cost to you.
Is the waistband elastic? I have really wide hips and small waist, so many leggings without an elastic waistband tend to slide down and not fit.
Our Avery leggings have a full elastic waistband completely covered inside and out by a wide merino wool band. You get the softness and comfort of merino wool right next to your skin, with the stretch and strength of elastic to hold your leggings in place all day. Definitely no sagging or sliding here!
Do these leggings have a gusseted crotch for flexibility?
Our Avery leggings have a regular flatlock seam in the crotch. The natural stretch of merino wool fibers creates a super soft midweight fabric that gives our leggings amazing flexibility, and full freedom of movement, without needing a gusset.
I'm going to central Europe in June... would these be too warm to wear like regular leggings? Would they be at all see-through?
Our Woolx Avery Leggings are made from our midweight 230g merino wool. They are designed to act as a warm base layer in cold conditions. They are not at all see through and can work great as a legging on their own in cool temps. However they are likely to be too warm to wear in central Europe in June unless you will be in very northern areas or high altitudes with low temps. These would likely be too warm for most people to wear as leggings in temps over 50 or 60 degrees, especially if it’s sunny.
