I’ve always tended to run cool / be cold more easily. This 400g heavyweight Australian merino ~~> it’s top drawer, just the ticket. Full agreement with others ~ very well made, very soft, WARM, comfortable in the finest way. Be clear on this element ~~> the pattern on these ~ VERY generous. Not kinda sorta. I’m 5’ 11”, weigh 150 and happen to have longer than average arms. The size M I originally received, it would've fit someone who's as tall as 6’ 3” and running 195. The size S I wound up ~> fits well. Latitude in underlayering is still a full function of things as the weather dictates. The reviews suggest the reality. A very fine satisfying piece. Happy I’d moved ahead to purchase. This will be worn and used often.
