When I was gathering gear for the Appalachian Trail my first thought was smell and how merino wool holds in and blocks the smell. The last pair of Woolx lasted me 1,800 hiking miles with hand washing every so often from the Top of Vermont down to Georgia. Admittedly they had a couple holes by then, but they were the only pair that I wore. These fit great, feel great, pfft sheep are rad critters. I'm a skinny athletic type and these work very well

Hands down some of the most comfortable boxer briefs I've tried. Add to that the fact that they are actually not supposed to be washed after every use since they don't really accumulate odor or bacteria, and you have nearly the perfect men's underwear. I have a very acute sense of smell and I tested this last feature thoroughly. To my surprise it is actually true. They really just need to be aired out overnight and they're good to go.
