I absolutely love this Cubby Hoodie. We just spent 3 weeks in Europe. I packed this, and 3 Ryan hoodies for layering. I also packed my Columbia puffer jacket, but only needed it twice. This awesome hoodie is sooo soft and just adds the right amount of warmth without cooking you. I am in my mid 50's, so like many others, my body thermostat has become faulty! It also surprisingly, repels rain somewhat. In a light rain, the water pretty much rolled off and what absorbed, dried quickly. I love the easy zip pockets, and especially the inner pocket at the top. The bungee ties on the hood were super for keeping the hood in place on a windy day. I honestly had *no* gripes about this jacket! Some mention the sleeves are too long.....they are, but the cuff portion folds nicely over the sleeve if you chose not to use the thumb holes. It was not a problem for me. I also appreciate the length. Long enough to keep you well covered, and doesn't ride up when you are sitting. I wish it came in more colors, but as a top layer over other colorful pieces, it really isn't necessary. I only laundered it twice in the three weeks I wore it almost every day. Never had that "worn too many times in one trip" odor. It was definitely worth the cost. I also appreciate that it rolls nice and small to put in a small tote when you are out and about and the weather warms up. It was never one of those awkward pieces to pack around. I will buy a back up of this jacket. It will be a staple in my travel, as well as home wardrobe!

Very nice heavy fabric. Well constructed with nice stitching and features. True to size. I did wash prior to wear based on reviews that lint/fuzz was a potential issue. I expect to wear it in cold weather…thumb holes are interesting feature.

I prefer my Ryan hoodie although with this I was looking for something a little warmer. What I don’t like about this one is the elastic bands at the hood and bottom. To cinch them in tighter you have these weird loops that stick out and catch on things and I don’t think it’s very attractive. I’m really considering about pulling mine out.

The pockets are awesome, not only does this have 2 zipper side pockets. There’s also an inside zippered pocket big enough for a phone and 2 super deep un-zippered pockets. 5 pockets total.

I love the style of the hoodie and how it fits. The unfortunate part about the whole thing is that only the tag is wool. So although I paid for a 100% wool jacket and $400! only about 24 in.² of the entire thing is wool. I would love to have a more honest company to be able to purchase actual wool products.

What a wonderful surprise this hooded sweatshirt is! It is so thick, warm and incredibly soft!! Excellent quality! I am going to love wearing it for travel as well as those cold outings for outdoor activities. I ordered my usual size and am glad I did. There is plenty of room for layering and it still fits nicely under a jacket or outer shell. Sleeves are long but can be tucked under.

I love my new jacket! I debated on the purchase, mainly due to the cost, but have already decided it's worth the investment. It's cozy, very soft and roomy enough to wear over 1-2 layers of clothes. The length of the jacket is perfect for cold weather. I would recommend ordering your normal size if you want a loose fit or plan to wear it over layers; if you like a snug fit, order the next smallest size.

I absolutely love this sweatshirt! The arms fit long which I really like and it provides some booty coverage. I seriously wear this everywhere and love not having to lug around something bulky for the amount of warmth this provides. Definitely impressed. It was very roomy, which I liked, but my husband accidentally shrunk it a little in the dryer. Luckily it wasn’t in there too long, so I can still wear it, but now it’s more fitted.

The jury is still out on this one. I love the feel of it, and love the hood, and love the zippered pockets. I don’t love the extra part of the sleeve that has the thumb holes. Too long. You can tuck it under, but every time you take the jacket on and off, it has to be adjusted. Considering having that part taken off entirely.
Medium size was good, 5’3” 130 lbs. room for layers as I don’t like things clinging to my belly.

I normally wear a medium in Woolx products and I purchased a medium cubby. I’m 5’3” and 130lbs. I’m pretty sure I could easily wear a small but there is something about the oversized fit of the medium cubby that I absolutely love! As many have noted, the sleeves are ridiculously long and I have to turn them up several inches to fit and will need to have them altered professionally. But I don’t care. I’m never letting my cubby go! It’s so comfy I’m pretty sure I could sleep in it!

The thick material of the Cubby can’t be beat. I had to size down because the 1x could really be worn as a 2X or even 3X. It ended up being fitted like the Zoey. Between the two, I think I prefer the styling of the Zoey, but, if I plan to wear this as a layer under a winter coat or raincoat when traveling in really cold climates, I think the Cubby would be perfect.

Quality zippers, and elastic to snug up the fit for a comfortable wear. Even the hood is lined. Wonderful long sleeves with thumb holes that can be folded up. Inside pockets and zippered outside pockets.
I chose a medium, 5‘6“, 140 LB. 36D with plenty of room to wear comfortable long sleeve shirts underneath.

Love this jacket. Originally ordered a large because I like things a little oversized so I can layer underneath. I usually order a large or XL. The reviews said to size down. The large was HUGE. Really huge. I exchanged for a medium which is great. Plenty of room to layer. I thought about trying a small but I have long arms and was worried the sleeves may not be long enough and not being able to layer underneath.

Unfortunately I have to give this less than 5 stars solely due to the sizing issue. I have a Zoey hoodie in Small and love it so much but it’s a little bit tight so can’t wear anything under it that’s thicker than a t-shirt. I usually wear a small and sometimes medium in shirts and jackets.
I decided I also needed/wanted a Cubby hoodie! I ordered it in medium so that it won’t be too tight on me like the Zoey hoodie. It arrived today and unfortunately it’s oddly huge - the arms are so long that they go 3 inches past my fingertips. Plus it hangs loosely on my body as if it’s a large. There’s no way I could wear this because of the super long sleeves. I want to love this so I’m not giving up and will exchange this for a small.
I have a bunch of other Woolx clothes and love them! I’ve even bought my elderly father a hoodie, cap, socks and blanket all from Woolx so he can be as warm and comfortable as possible.
I’m positive the small Cubby will be exactly what I’m looking for!

This is made from very warm and wonderful material. I was excited to find it. It is very similar to Icebreakers Elemental Sweater which has been discontinued. That sweater breathes when it needs to and keeps you warm in very cold weather. I’m sure Cubby will too. Two requests: I actually ordered Grizzly to try as well as it had a chest pocket: women like these too! Also, please make Cubby without a hood, and in many other colors. That would be perfect. Love my Cubby
I decided I needed a really warm outer layer and after much deliberation decided on the Cubby. This is much more than a sweatshirt. I consider it more of a jacket with a hood. I love everything about it. It is warm but not bulky. Every detail is nicely finished. Thumbholes on the cuffs which you can either fold inside the sleeve or roll back over the cuff if you want them out of the way. Exterior has a nice finish which gives it a more polished look over a sweatshirt. Pockets zip and are a great size. The front zipper goes all the way up and tucks into a little cover so that your neck does not get scratched and it is high enough that it really does keep you warm. I often don’t like the hoods designers come up with but this one does not get in the way and can be cinched tight to really protect your neck in the event you do not have a scarf. I get easily chilled if my neck is not protected. I got my usual size large. I am 5’10” @ 170 lbs. and am generally a size 12. This fits perfectly. Room to wear layers, but works without a lot of layers. I got the black. I expect this to be a wardrobe staple for years. Well worth the price.

Best Hoodie EVER
I've been searching for the perfect hoodie for decades, and now I've finally found it with this one! The sleeves are finally long enough to cover my arms and have plenty of room to comfortably use the thumb holes (usually I can't because the sleeves are too short, leaving the holes to dig painfully into my hand). If you aren't using the holes it is easy to tuck them away and it still looks nice and clean. The fabric is very soft and reasonably thick (I had expected it to be a bit thicker but it is still good). The temperature regulating is great, nice and snug when it needs to be but lets you breathe a bit when its extra sunny or you've been walking a while. The hood is great, good size, and finally workable adjustment tabs for the hood rather than the silly shoestring business that inevitably gets pulled out on one side. Roomy pockets, easily fits my cell phone, and the zipper keeps things from falling out. I seem to always feel cold, so I've been practically living in this thing since I got it! Best hoodie EVER!!
I debated when ordering if I should size up, since I like a very roomy hoodie. I ended up choosing the XL instead of the L, but I could have gone with the L and I think it would have still been roomy enough.

I absolutely love this hoodie. Have bought one for each member of my family; everyone loves it. Warm and cozy enough for 50s degree days with nothing more than a tshirt. Sweatshirt-esque fabric, smooth and silky on one side, soft and fuzzy on the other. Sweatshirt but SUPER elevated because the fabric is gorgeous, thick heavy wool. Def a departure from the ubiquitous cotton hoodie. I highly recommend.

The quality and design meets my expectations however, the sleeves are ridiculously long. I will have to pay to have the sleeves altered. The sleeves are a good one inch too long. You may need to consider a new fit model. I have always been an XL with your clothing but had to exchange for a LG.

Fantastic - don't hesitate to buy
I am a plus size woman. (5'3" - 240lbs - wear 1x & 2x in WoolX) I was trying to decide if I should buy the Grizzly or the Cubby. My husband had a different 2x WoolX coat. Tried that it was way too long in the arms for me and no shape. Decided to go with the Cubby and ordered the 1x. It is great. A smidge long in the arms but that is not a deal breaker. The fit is loose so the 1x was great. I can zip it and there is still a little room. I can wear layers underneath. Great coat for 30-40 degrees and up. It will be great for spring and fall. I can wear it in the winter as long as I am wearing wool underneath. The quality of the Cubby is fantastic. It has a great weight. The zipper is very good too. I love the thumbholes. I am glad I finally had the courage to buy it. It is a great investment.
