Holy cow these are great pants! Been a cold winter here and jeans are just not cutting it and while I have winter leggings, those are not always appropriate for all occasions. These definitely are.
They’re so well-tailored, the fit is amazing and while I ordered the petite length, they’re just a bit too long since I no longer wear heels. I will hem them. Tomorrow!
The pockets are so good, the no zip waistband is super comfortable. These are my first pair of wool pants but won’t be my last!

Woolx promotes the petite size for 5'4" and under, but let me tell you that if you're 5'2" the Ellie petite pants will be at least two inches too long. I debated returning the pants but decided to have them professionally shortened instead, adding $20 to the price. Now I'm glad I did! Love the fabric, the warmth, the stretchy comfort. This is just what I wanted for my winter wardrobe: pants a little more formal than jeans, but easy to wear. I'd give them 5 stars if I hadn't had to pay for alteration.

I truly like the way these pants look on me and expect to get a lot of wear out of them. They are not as itchy as other Woolx products I’ve tried.
Anyone considering buying a Woolx product should be aware that the fabric is thin and will pack well, but it is also very heavy and attracts lint. I have not found any of the products to be warm except the wool underwear.

My observations are based on having them for four months. The 30" inseam might be an issue for some petites. I'm 5'2" and 150lbs. My inseam is 27 inches. I ordered a Large because of bloating problems. I wear these pants hiked way up over my menopausal belly, so even though they are a little long, they are not too much of an issue once I put on shoes.
I thought, since they were wool, they would be scratchy, but they are soft and don't irritate my skin.
I wash them in cold water and dry them on low, and the shape & color are holding up well. I have also air-dried them, no issues with smell or lengthy dry time. The fabric has lots of stretch. I've not had problems with piling, which is excellent.
I appreciate that the front pockets are deep. (The wide-leg pants don't have pockets on the backside.) I really like the wide elastic waistband, which doesn't dig into your sides. I wish more colors were available: Navy, Olive, Brown, and Cream.

I normally wear a size 2 or 4 in pants. These fit perfectly. The next time I order pants I will order regular length. I’m 5’3” and petite pants are often a little short on me. The fabric is high quality. I wore these for 6 days straight and didn’t notice any odor or stretch. These are the perfect travel pants, comfortable in cold or warm weather. The only thing that I noticed was that the waistband was a bit itchy if I didn’t tuck in a top layer. I haven’t noticed any itchiness in any other products so this seemed odd. Overall, lovely pants that look great!

The Ellie Wide Leg Petite are beautiful pants, stylish, with deep and flat pockets that do not add bulk to the hip area for pear-shaped women. The legs are full but not overwhelming. As a 5'0", 125lbs. petite, it is still a tad long to wear with flat shoes (28.5" inseam) but I'm glad I got SMALL instead of the usual Medium I get in the leggings. The Small has less volume and it sits tighter in my waist skimming the hips without showing imperfections. The style is high-waisted and very comfortable. Beautiful product as usual! These pants are incredible. I've worn them several times a week since I got them. The pockets are perfect. My phone fits comfortably.. nothing can fall out since the pocket is vertical, not side slit. The leg is wide but not overly so. These are just great all around pants.

I don’t usually wear high waisted pants, but they are so comfortable and the wide waistband stays put! At 5’, I did have to shorten the legs. Otherwise they fit beautifully. The only complaint I can make is that they pick up cat hair….not unlike most black clothing.

They washed and dried beautifully and best of all they look great on! Just want to also mention that I wore them on a cold winter day in Pennsylvania and they kept me very comfortable. These are not petites. I’m 5’3”, and have a 27 inch inseam - the hem came to half way around my foot in stocking feet. For the amount of money that you spend on these pants, tailoring should not be necessary. The fabric felt fine, fit (size medium) other than the inseam was also fine. I just can’t justify the cost if tailoring is required. I ended up purchasing a pair of wool pants from Eileen Fisher that fit as expected for petite sizing.
