They are nice and warm, can pass for real slacks at work. Wish the pockets were real or just not there...either patch pockets or made from the pants material. The thin synthetic pocket material moves around, is itchy, flimsy, and too hard to reach because the openings are up at the top of the high waist. Also, I am 5'7", so the length on the regular size was too short. I purchased the tall, and paid to have them hemmed; glad I was able to get these on sale to mitigate that expense. They do seem to be pilling a bit on the backs of the seat and upper legs after only a few wearings. I wish wish wish there could be less synthetic material in these.

Love them; need more colors in tall I love these pants. They are very comfortable. I’d love to see recycled nylon in the mix & more colors in the tall size. I would buy these in a dark sapphire blue, the brown color in the regular size and a charcoal grey if they were available. For reference, I am 5 “10, 163 pounds, waist is 31, hips 40.5 and a medium fits well.

I had gotten others that were regular size and were about an inch too short, so do recommend getting the tall!

Perfect pants for cold days! I live in Vermont and these are great for cold days. I wear them to work but they could be worn practically anywhere. Love the pockets, too; nice and deep, and unobtrusive. I bought the Large size in Tall and they fit perfectly. I'm 5'7" and about 165 lbs. The pants fit easily and are so comfortable. And when I lose the weight I need to, they will be easy for me to take in the side seams to make them smaller if need be! A Win win..... Highly recommend!!

The BEST Wool Pants I am beside myself with happiness that these pants exist. I immediately called and emailed and told them if they made more colors, I would buy 10 pairs full price! They are high waisted, incredibly comfortable, very flattering overall with good placement of deep front pockets, delightfully heavyweight for upstate NY winter, incredibly soft. Trouser-like in appearance, feel like loungewear. I find they do run a bit big, I am about 170 pounds, 5 foot 10, usually wear L/XL and I wear a medium in these. I ordered the tall, and they are almost TOO long (statuesque ladies take note!). I washed and machine dried them with NO shrinkage or change in appearance. Absolutely SUPERB pants! (I’m actively planning to buy another pair or two in black, which is a little crazy but that’s how much I like these!)

Nice pants! I’m very pleased with the fit and warmth of the Ellie wide leg pant in Tall. Love the wide waistband and flat front. I also prefer the pocket placement on the Ellie compared to the Emerson straight leg pant. I ordered both styles and in the end I preferred the Ellie wide leg pant. It is not too wide of a leg and the pants drape well and are nice and warm. I’m 5’10” and the length works for me (maybe a tad longer than necessary but I won’t need to shorten).
