Very happy with my petite Ellis tights in black. I'd love it if they came in petite in other, neutral colors! I love to wear them under dresses for just that extra bit of warmth on a cool day. I've also worn them under pants as a base layer and enjoyed the extra warmth on a very cold day! They aren't completely opaque, so I'm always wearing a longer layer over Ellis for modesty. Again, lighter colors for warmer weather would be appreciated!

I picked up a pair of black petite medium Ellis to go under my dresses and they’re great. Five stars so far. I’ve worn them a couple times to work. Cozy, comfy, higher waist than my Piper leggings which I also love, but I don’t mind my tummy getting smoothed out by that higher waist band, I must say. No problems with them creeping down during the day at work or with the waist trying to roll down. As a data point I’m a pear shape.

Ellis is amazing! Wore them layered under Frost pretty much 6 weeks straight this winter! So comfy: hiking, snowshoeing, sledding, never felt constricted or tight. I accidentally left them at home when I packed for my next 3 month road trip and I'm having them mailed to me so I can wear them in Alaska in May!

These are fantastic, but I ordered a petite and I am 5'3" and I still had to pay to have them hemmed. Also, oddly, the left leg was much longer than the right. The fabric is wonder but the quality control for production might be off. With other brands I don't have to pay to have petite items hemmed.

Originally I purchased 2 for a ski trip. While I loved how they looked and felt (thin and not scratchy) I wasn’t sure how they would perform skiing as a base layer bc they were so thin. They were perfect. Temps were 18-36 degrees. I was never cold. I purchased 2 more to replace thicker polartec fleece leggings that get really stinky after 1 day of skiing. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ll add I purchased and returned the Stella cold weather leggings bc they were too scratchy for me, perhaps due to their thickness, but the Ellis were perfect.

I am 67 yrs old, 130 lbs, 5” 2”
Guessing at my measurements: 38” at bra line, A ½ cup, 34” waist most in front meno pouch, 38” hips.
Ellis Petite Tights are the right length and feel right from ankle to my waist. I must be short waisted as they pull up to under my bra. This is great to hold in the meno belly. But the very top does roll down. I will definitely buy another pair and may size up to a medium to see if they don’t roll down as much. These are a PERFECT weight for living in the high-desert mountains of Colorado. The sun is so intense, especially now in the winter, that we often have the windows open. Love my new Ellis Tights

I really wanted to like these tights but the fit is very uncomfortable around the waist. According to the measurements in the size guide, a petite medium should be perfect for me. However, they are a bit too long and the compression waist is too tight and rolls down. For comparison, my favorite leggings are the Piper in a petite small. I wear them often. Unfortunately, I did wear these tights twice - thinking I would get used to the fit - but I don't see that happening. I am very disappointed.

Really love this leggings! The petite size is perfect for someone 5’0” like me. The sizing is perfect and not too tight and not too loose and the slight compression top is nice but not too tight. I like that they are high waisted and where they fall on my waist.
Unfortunately they got a run in the fabric right above the gusset after only wearing about 3 times.

They are tights or underlayers, I don’t wear alone (Stella’s for that). Perfect for dresses and tunics, or under jeans! Closet thing to wool “shapewear” that I’ve tried.

These are fabulous tights! My only feedback is that I wish the compression at the top came down a little further - Its a nice firmness around the waist, but then it pushes my apron belly out below the compression for an unattractive lump in some clothes, and if i wear them lower on my waist - I get a muffin top.

They seem to be good quality and the fabric feels nice and also strong like it will hold up.
BUT beware you're 1000% sure of their comfort for you before you commit!
I got the small (I'm usually a size 4, maybe a six depending on time of the month). Anyway, I tried them on when I got them and they seemed to fit well, nice and smooth and stretchy. So I went ahead and washed them because I don't wear stuff like that without washing first.
Well, I finally wore them and within an hour my gut was KILLING me. I thought maybe I was just bloated that day so I took them off (instant relief). I tried again a few days later, just wearing them around the house with a sweatshirt. Same thing -- within a hour it felt like they were cutting off circulation to my stomach/gut and caused pinching pain. I wear yoga pants around ALL the time with no issues, so this was really surprising!
Unfortunately, because I'd washed them I was not able to return them. $100+ was a LOT for me to lose on these.
So...If you're unsure, HIGHLY recommend you size UP!! AND, wear them around UNWASHED for a while before you commit. I wish I had, now they will just sit in my drawer.

Love everything about these tights except that the waist rolls down constantly. I got the same size that I wear in the Stella but maybe I needed a bigger size in these? Other than that they’re a great thickness, the legs are super comfortable, and the length is perfect.

They’re awesome standing. I’m comfortable sitting but I definitely notice the compression more. Waist is 34-35. Hip is 44-45. I’m 5’3”

I really wanted to like the tights. I ordered my regular size and then exchanged them for the next bigger size. They roll down. The only way they don't roll is if I don't move. I have put them on three times intending to wear them and they come off before I leave the house because I have a big fabric roll at my waist.

I purchased the Ellis leggings as an underlayer, and they are a very nice weight for that. They seem to be very good quality and are not itchy like some other brands. I saw that they were control top, so I sized up. They are comfortable for the most part, but start to bind after dinner. I would strongly prefer that my underlayer was not control top.

The Ellis is great under skirts, etc (as they aren't designed to be worn solo). I've already ordered a second pair.
My one quibble is that even the petites are slightly long. I'm 5'1" and have to roll up about an inch of material over at the ankle.
This isn't a big deal, as once I put socks and boots over the rolled-over section, it isn't visible. But I'd love a pair of true petites.

I had high hopes based on reviews saying how soft these leggings are, unfortunately for me they were so itchy, I had to take them off after only a couple of minutes. The fit, look, everything else was perfect about them. If you have sensitive skin, stay away, if not then they will be a great addition to your wardrobe. But be warned, there’s nothing soft about the material.

I loved my Marleys so much I had to get this legging version Ellis! Lightweight which is great for mild winters in Louisiana. I have a 34” waist and 44” hips and large fit me perfectly and they do snatch you in a bit, they’re not super strong shapewear but do make a difference.
