I love these pants. They look dressy and yet feel like I’m wearing sweats. These are a size small tall and the fit is perfect for my frame.
I’m a 28 waist, 37 hips with a 34 inseam.
I wore these all over Vienna in the evenings over whichever pair of leggings I was wearing for the day to stay warm as the temps dropped and they were fantastic. I’d love to get them in another color. Please come out with tall in a lovely charcoal!

Nice material but more like a sweat pant material. I ordered a medium and usually wear a size 6 in most pants. These were very baggy and I probably could have ordered a small.

The tall version is the perfect lenght for me (6ft). Looks very dressed, nice and warm for that little bit colder weather. I used it as pregancy pants, because my belly was too small for the 'real'pregnancy stuff, worked out very well

Love the fit and drape of these pants. I wore them on a flight and then crawled around on the floor with my granddaughter and they don’t sag or bag at the knees. The pockets are generous but blend into the seams. I could have probably worn the regular but ordered tall for the extra rise and length and they are perfect. They keep me warm but are not hot or itchy. They can be dressed up or down easily. Great buy!

Currently in process of exchanging sizes. I am 200 lbs, 5'11", usually wear a size 16 or so, and I ordered the XL Tall. Thats what I would expect would fit, but there is sooo much extra room in these pants! And they are actually TOO long and qith too high a rise, which I dont think has ever happened to me! As far as the quality of the pant, it is great! I just wish the description of the sizing was better for this particular garment to save the hassle.

I wanted a pair of black wool pants to wear outdoors and to work, but my favorite company no longer makes the pants I wanted in a 31" inseam. I ordered this pair in the Tall length, and had them hemmed to fit. I love that I have that option. They're easy-wearing and comfortable, but I agree with other reviewers that the pockets ruin the otherwise nice line of the pants. The outer fabric also picks up lint much too easily. They're a great pant, but I'll keep them for lounging and hiking, not necessarily for work.

Wow!! I was shocked. Love the Emerson straight leg pants! I am 5’11” with a 34” inseam and the tall is the perfect length. Thank you WoolX!! They are very comfortable and can be dressed up or casual. I love that they are loose so it gives me a “flow” look- I ordered additional pairs- one a size smaller - which I think will be a bit different look. These run looser than the piper legging. A big thank you to WoolX for making great products- I have worn and washed the piper leggings on my travels and they are still going strong. My only complaint is that they sometimes run out of the item I want- but that is likely a good thing as I want them to do well and keep making great products from natural fibers.

These run BIG, I’m usually a small, sometimes a medium in other cloths, and I was swimming in the small. Xsm worked perfectly. Also love that they come in a tall size I’m 5’8, 140, and prefer about a 32 inch inseam. These are SO cozy, and look great! Not a huge fan of the high waist, but they are not falling down.

Just had back surgery. I could wear the straight leg pants in a bigger size but couldn’t wear the pants with skinny leg/foot opening. After back surgery you can’t bend over.

Normally I wear a size 12 women (5'10" 178 lb) or size large in other WoolX pants. Had to return the large tall for a medium tall. It was way too big in the waist. The tall size is "almost" too long but I'd rather that than too short. I just need to not wear it with flats or roll the waist band. Which brings me to the rise... It's very high waisted (and I enjoy high waisted pants) and yes, the waist band can be rolled and then it's somewhere between a mid & high rise waist. Lastly, the pockets are weirdly placed- the side seam with the pockets are much more far forward than typical pants and it's awkward to slide your hands in. I looked at several different brands of pants and needed length, pockets, wool (obviously), heavier weight and for them to transition easily to the office. These hit those points but could be better with a different rise and pocket placement. Probably just a 3.5 star and enough to keep them.

I first ordered the pants in a size small, but they were too big, so I exchanged them for an XS. The process was simple, quick and efficient. The XS are absolutely perfect. The pants look great, are a beautiful soft wool, and fit perfectly. I am 5’8” tall, 133 pounds and the pants are long enough and just perfect.

These are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned -- they are soft and cozy, but not tight. The fabric feels lux and drapes nicely. The wide waistband is perfect.

I love these pants! I need long inseams and finding a pant like this in a tall is an absolute miracle! I wear at 34 or 35 inch inseam with flats and a 36 with a bit of a heel. I'm 152lbs and 5'8" with long legs and a short torso. These pants are perfect! I love the high waist. I am using them mostly as lounge pants, although I wouldn't even hesitate to wear them as dress pants. A pant that can go from lounge to dress without missing a beat!? What could be better. My only complaint is - I don't really wear black. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat if there were colors. I medium shade of navy would be perfect. In fact, the only reason I am not immediately buying the Ellie tall is because there is only black.

The fit and comfort on these is about the same as the Ellie. They are both great. The legs are just a little slimmer than Ellie's so they work under dresses. I love them.

Love these pants but they were too long (Stella and Piper in long are perfect for me.) Exchanged for a regular M and the Emerson is just right. Lovely weight and drape to the fabric. Definitely can be dress pants but will get everyday use too!

I'm 5'7", 160# and the Tall length is too long, however, the Regular length was much too short for me. I would rather hem them to get the perfect fit. They are very soft and quite cozy! Heavier fabric than my Luca's and a bit dressier in appearance. I'm very happy with these pants!

I received my Emerson Straight Leg Pants (size Medium Tall) about ten days ago and I'm pleased with them. The Tall size is perfect for me and I'm only 5'8", so I'm glad that I didn't pay attention to the 5'10" and above recommendation. These pants are VERY comfortable, especially the nice wide waistband. My only suggestion would be to skip the fake pockets on the back. They serve no purpose, but create a ridge. I will probably order a second pair of these pants.

Excellent! I've had my eye on these pants for a while. Like most Woolx items they were expensive (and worth every penny), so I waited for a good sale and Christmas! I'm so grateful that Woolx offers these in tall sizes, because we tall girls get left out a lot. The pants are well made, flattering, warm, and comfortable. They have also washed and dried well.I am 5'10" and 175 pounds and carry my weight in my waist and thighs. I ordered size large and they fit well.

This style is near-perfect - the fabric is soft but has some structure, and they're comfortable but still look professional. Note: since the length is very generous, I plan to try the regular version next. (I'm 5'10", and this pair did require a little hemming.)

Nice pants but not quite right for me.
I was comparing the Ellie wide leg pant in tall with the Emerson straight leg in tall and although they are the same lovely fabric I really preferred the pocket placement on the Ellie over the Emerson. Length was great on both pants. I think it ends up to be personal preference.

Wearing these pants is a joy. The fabric is substantial, but the experience of wearing them is not heavy. Very light and comfortable. Also like the width of the leg - not narrow, not wide.
I bought Medium Tall. They seem a bit shorter than my Ellie Tall Medium pants. But this works well for Emerson pants’ narrower width.

Pleased that the size chart is not accurate. I measured the inseam on my size XL Emerson's at 35" long. Longer than I need, but I can hem them. The 32.5" listed on the chart would have been too short for me. I like the straight leg and the placement of the front pockets. Don't quite understand the point of fake back pockets. Real pockets would be preferable. I would purchase another pair if offered in navy or grey. Much prefer these to the Ellie.

Last February I read about Woolx pants and ordered a pair of Ellie’s. I immediately fell in love with them and quickly ordered a second pair. I took a five week trip to Europe last spring and took both pairs and wore them practically every day. I alternately washed them in the sink (every few days) with a little shampoo and hung them to dry, which they did beautifully. I didn’t think I could love any clothing any more until I recently ordered a pair of Emerson’s. The Ellie’s have met their match! I don’t know which style I love more! They are the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned.

Emerson Tall - soft and warm like Ellie but I prefer this straight leg cut. Fake back pockets make no sense to me. Wish they were actual pockets. Two front pockets are generously sized. These really do provide length for tall women. The size chart listed 32.5 inches. The inseam on my size XL measures a full 35 inches. Very appreciative of the tall option, and the surprise extra length.
