Usually petite fits me perfectly in length. I’m 5’ 2 1/2 “. These pants are basically a regular length. I need to get them hemmed at least 2 inches.

I purchased a black pair size M in regular length, had to hem up about 2 inches. So this time I purchased a gray pair in size M in petite length. I am 5'4" and the petite length is perfect. For perspective, I tried on the petite pants while wearing flip flops, and the pant legs hit the floor, so will be perfect with a high heeled shoe or boot. Very happy with the petite length.

I first bought the black Emersons & found them to be the best fitting & most comfortable slacks I've ever put on in my life! So I bought the Cinder Melange ones as soon as I could afford to! To my surprise, the Cinder Melange Emersons were tighter around my bottom & upper thighs. I measured them as shown in my pictures. They turn out to be 3/4 of an inch narrower through the hip & upper thighs! That makes a big difference! The pocket "pooches" more than I like. I'm 5'-1 1/2", 150 lbs & chose size petite medium.

This is my second pair and I also have the wide leg version. This completes my travel wardrobe for work travel as they are great for any season except Summer. They are comfortable for long work days and can be dressed up or own depending on need.

This is my second pair of these pants (I have them in brown and now grey). If the black was in stock in my size I’d probably have them too! I’m 5’6” and have long torso / short legs so regular length pants are usually too long but petite is often too short either in the inseam the rise. These are perfect in the rise and the inseam for me! They sit at my natural waist (which is pretty high). They are so soft and cozy. Slim fit but not too tight. Flattering. I love the pockets - they are fake in the back and in the front they are mesh so they don’t add bulk. There’s a faux fly as well so they look like “real” pants, office worthy, but feel like sweats. Nice for indoors or out. I live in MN and I basically wear WoolX pants (joggers, leggings, or these) every day.

Love these pants in petite. I have one in each color offered. Warm, soft and comfortable and can be dressed up a bit. I am 5’2” 120lbs and the petite small was perfect except for the length. They are quite long even in the petite which means hemming. I really wish you would just offer different lengths for us smaller people.

The pants are too large in the waist and the length. I have not worn them yet. They will require some modification. I would have sent them back, but they didn’t have this color in stock anymore. I do like them very much and that is the only reason I have not returned them. I am an experienced seamstress and that is why I am willing to modify them. I might as well draw a pattern off them to make more with some fine NZ merino jersey and save myself $100. I would recommend these pants to a buyer, as I did also buy a petite medium (which are also too long) and they are fabulous. Also bought a pair of Stella leggings in large which are too long. I am 5’2” 130lbs. I recognize medium is an appropriate size also but at 68, I’m not really buff anymore and I don’t want them tight. I’m telling potential buyers this so they can be guided.

I love these grey/charcoal pants! I had several things from Woolx, including the Stella leggings, which were fantastic during the cold spell we had this winter, but were too long. I usually get size L, although I'm a true M with a few extra pounds. I decided to not only go with M for these pants, but also get the petite. Brilliant! The pants fit perfectly. So now I know to get any pants from Woolx in petite and possibly M. The tops will probably continue to get them in L. But back to the pants - they are thick enough so they are warm and keep their shape (no knees showing) and look really cute on my frame. The charcoal goes with everything, including moss green and purple. I would've loved them in chocolate brown too.

The pants were very unflattering on me. I have other similar style pants in other fabrics in size L Petite which look decent on me. These looked like I’d stuffed two Manatees into the pants along with my admittedly bulbous legs. I will not be putting the pants on again, as I don’t want to deepen the trauma already endured. Though offering a substantial discount for visually documenting the problem is a nice touch and might otherwise have gained my cooperation. No. The wool booties and the shirt for my husband were great and we are keeping those. The pants will find their way back to you.

I've been wanting a pair of gray wool slacks for a while, and I finally got them. I bought a petite and had to have them shortened :-(, but they are comfortable and most of all, they are warm. I can dress them up if I need to, or wear them with a t-shirt and sweatshirt. They wash up beautifully.

Large petite pants were too long and slightly too large following sizing guidelines (I’m 5’3”). They were beautifully made and returns were easy.
Next time there is a significant sale, I may give the medium petite a shot.
Shipping process is well communicated, but a little slow.

leg length is too long to really be petite. An improvement would be to be able to select length; 26,28,30,32 rather than a named size. I have shortened them. Otherwise very comfortable and look forward to seeing how they wear.

I love these pants for cold weather days. I was looking for a pair of gray pants, and these are almost perfect. The fabric color is slightly heathered, which I don't prefer as I am trying to pass them as business casual wear. I really wanted to love these, but they just didn't work for me. As others have noted, the pockets didn't lie flat (even though overall they seemed to be the right size), and even though I tried the petite version, they were several inches too long. If length had been the only issue, I would have had them hemmed, but the pockets gapping meant that tops wouldn't hang smoothly over them - so sadly, they went back.

This is my third pair of Woolx straight-leg pants. I bought my first pair a couple of months ago. I couldn't believe how well it fits, and how good it looks. It's difficult to beat merino when it comes to softness and comfort, and it's wrinkle-resistant.
Since then, I went back and bought two more pairs. It's pricey, but they will last me several years.
