Great layering piece for ice fishing i wear it as base layer under a wool quarter zip and a wool x grizzly hoody. And then a wool x vest on top. 4 layers total but not bulky. This shirt also works great under long sleeve shackets or vest etc. Great piece of gear.

Wool is unlike any other material I have ever worn. It is warm, but not weighty. And extremely comfortable: I was concerned that it would be "scratchy" but it is smooth and soft, surprisingly. I can wear it for five days and it still smells as good as the day I put it on. It looks really good, too. I have other teeshirts in my closet, but they are clingy, absorb moisture, and not nearly as comfortable.

I had to get set for next winter and buy another men's Explorer Base level top before the prices go up any higher. My first one has been my go-to sweater to wear with leggings for more dressy occasions. It's beginning to show mild pilling sooner than expected and will be used for more casual wear. The medium fits without being too tight, yet it's still quite fitted for a less than twenty pounds of woman. Interesting. I love the length and would appreciate more color options (deep grey, navy and darker green would be wonderful!) to be available for this fall, please.

Very impressed with the quality and fit. Let’s get the dimensions out first: I’m about 5’ 11 and 180 with an athletic build. The Explorer Base Layer fits great. It’s best as an under layer with my flannel shirts and a wind breaker.

Almost perfect. I think it is comfortable and does what you'd expect from Marino Wool. However, for the price it was disappointing to see my garment was made in China. The quality is as good as you'd expect for the price so far, but I'd really like to see it made in a country that isn't China. I'd pay $10 more for the garment made in America or nearly anywhere else other than China. For this reason it's hard for me to recommend to others.
