I have two terrific heavy weight Woolx leggings size large from 5 years ago. I ordered another pair and the sizing is completely different - these are much too large. Returning them.

At the smallest available size, XS was still too big for a typical pants size 26. Also, the side pockets (perhaps because they are not stretched tight enough) gape at the opening.

The leggings themselves are fine. We paid for 2 business day shipping and it arrived late, so we did not get what we paid for. I raised the issue before it came, and got no response. Good that you are asking these questions, but the shipping experience was a bad customer experience

I am always cold in the winter and these will help me stay warm when I go to the store or even wear them under my big lined jeans to feed live stock.

Love these! The fit is great. The quality is excellent. They are thick, warm, soft, and very comfortable. They are completely smell-free, and I’ve tested them several times. I wore them everyday on a recent trip, and not a single smell…verified by my travel companions. I will definitely buy it again, when these wear out!

I am in Love with Woolx clothing! I love these leggings for a lot of reasons! The pockets are deep and very functional! As soon as you put them on, it is instant comfort and warmth. They are super cute on and I probably wear them 3-4 times a week!

These are deep black, thick, and excellent quality. They are really warm, yet breathable, and completely odorless!!! They hold no smells from my active day. The fit is great. These have been my go to pant at home and out, since they came in the mail.

These are not the same fabric as the piper pocket leggings, which I already have and was expecting the same weight. These are slightly heavier and I don’t find them as comfortable.

These are the best leggings for cold weather. They have washed well, but I’ve only washed them twice. They are heavier than my other Woolex leggings, and have kept me warm walking my dog in the 28-32F temperature range. I will need to purchase another pair soon. Excellent! I did find they run a little bigger than my other leggings though.

This Florida girl just got back from a winter trip to Iceland and was so impressed with the quality and warmth of the base layers purchased. I also purchased a balaclava and used it everyday- kept my face from getting wind burned in 30 mph winds. Great products!

I love how THICK these are! I have several of the regular Piper pants, and these fit just the same, but you can feel a real difference in the thickness and warmth of the Frost pants. They were great during this last blast of NE storm weather. No need for under leggings. I just wear these and stay toasty!

I’ve made a few Woolx purchases and I have to say customer was top notch with my orders I finally was able to get these leggings because were out of stock for so long I can see why they are so comfortable & very warm. I purchased the harvest color first and now the black. The best leggings and they wash well. Please make note colors next season like navy, green and red.

I purchased these for a trip to Antarctica. I was quite pleased with the functionality of them. They kept me warm as a base layer or wearing them alone. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that they were baggy at the ankle despite me pulling them up. I ended up wearing them halfway down my foot, which at least gave me some more warmth there. The price of these was my biggest hesitation, but I am glad that I made the leap.

Love the weight and opaqueness of these leggings. These leggings kept me warmer in frigid Michigan temperatures. Leggings are not as 'high rise' as I expected but I love the feel of them!

Once I reordered and got a better size that fits they are great. Not enough guidance on size and then I had to return the first pair. The return process is a nuisance and then no confirmation I’ve been reimbursed. As much as I like the product, the ordering issues will make me think twice before buying again.

These are terrible! I feel so stupid for falling for an Instagram ad - never again! The ad made these look like they're made by a wholesome family business (in Vermont, if I remember correctly), and they're made in China! I am a NYC nurse and we were on strike in the freezing cold when I saw the ad, which also claimed that these were the warmest pants ever. I was wearing four pairs of pants to the picket line at the time, so I fell for this pitch. They're no warmer than any of my other winter leggings. I wore them ONCE, out to dinner and the ballet, and they snagged on something the first and only time I wore them! So now there's a visible, loose, ugly snag. Also, the knees bagged immediately, and they're much too big and baggy in the waist (I always have to buy XL to get length since I'm 5 '9"). These are so overpriced for what they are. I am SO disappointed! For the price, I was expecting a really soft, luxurious legging. The spandex exterior feels icky. I just hate these and feel so ripped off.

I ordered leggings a size too large for my trip to Iceland. I was surprised with how roomy they were! Unfortunately, I might not have enough time to exchange them! I called Woolx and explained the situation and asked when I could expect them? The rep assured me that she would do her best to expedite it. They actually came two days early! They were super comfy and warm! They fit nicely and are of great quality!! Very happy customer!!

I live in Northern Wisconsin, and am freezing all winter. Until I found the Frost pants, literally wear them every day (I have 3 pairs) I absolutely love these pants!!

These fit perfectly, but I’m glad I read the reviews and sized down. I am 5’6” and 125 lbs., and I have two pair of Stella leggings in size S that fit fine. But the Frost Duralite leggings are a little different, and an XS was definitely the right choice. I will be wearing them in the snow but find them comfortable for indoor use as well.

I was so excited to receive my Frost Dura Loft Leggings! The legs fit fine but they were too large in the waistband. It’s tough being leg and hip heavy

These are amazing leggings, They got me comfortably through -5 (-30 windchill) -- I can't help but rate them this highly -- however, the rise is so low that I spent all my time pulling them up in back. I felt like they had not factored in room for my tush which, at a 1x, should be assumed to be a certain non-negligible size. The width and legs were perfect, but the length of the leggings overall seems on the short-ish side, and from the crotch to the waist is just not enough to make them feel like they're staying up! My Stella leggings fit PERFECTLY in all respects ... why are these different? Pockets are great and necessary - put them on the Stellas, please! I needed the warmth of these so I didnt return them, but I probably won't wear them often because of the discomfort. If you have no ass, or if you are young and hip and wear your pants a lot lower than I do, these leggings are otherwise flawless.

I love my Woolx Piper leggings and have several pair. I ordered these to be able to wear on really cold days. I like the texture but they are not as comfortable as the Pipers They don't fit as well around the butt and hips which is my biggest area right not. I'll keep them but they are not my go to's like the Pipers are.

They are certainly warm and keep my dry! I wish they fit a bit better being a curvier woman, but other than that, I would highly recommend them!

I have been wanting Frosts, since sometimes I can feel the cool air or need more warmth in bed at night when I am traveling with Stellas. The Frost leggings which are 444 grams per meter (gsm) merino wool and weigh about 426 grams. The Stella are 330 gsm and weigh around 312 grams, the Frosts are thicker, heavier not as flexible but are comfortable even in 20 degree weather without pants on top and warmer in the house. They also come with good size pockets which the Stellas do not (Pipers have pockets). On the Frost, the pocket adds additional thickness to my hip and thighs since it sticks out a little. The Stellas have a thin, perfect size waist band that fits at my waist to keep the Stellas up securely. The Frost has a wider band which extends over the top my hips, so it gives me more of a feeling of my pants sliding down which is a problem also with the Pipers. The Frosts have stayed up, but I still will periodically give them a tug up which I don't have to do with the Stellas. I think if your waist and hips are close in size, they might have a problem sliding down. From top of the waist to the crotch, the Frost and Stellas seem to measure the same distance. I can fit my Samsung S22 Ultra (big phone) in the Frost pockets with the thick material. I don't think I would want to put my phone in my pocket if I had Pipers due to the lighter merino wool and fear it would stretch them out. I got the Frosts in Grape Harvest Melange color which is an excellent color for coordinating with all my Woolx tops. However, since it is a lighter color and thicker material, I get folds around my crotch which draw attention to that area, kind of a camel toe with extra thick material folds for emphasis. I was debating on whether to return the Frosts because of that, but they are so warm. I put my Eva tunic top over the Frosts which hid that area, so I have kept my Frosts. If the black Frosts had been on sale, perhaps the problem would have been less noticeable. If you run cold even in a 70 degree house or have a lot of 15 - 30 degree weather, get a pair of Frosts. I find Stellas are great all around pants and ideal for walking or sleeping in as long as it is not too windy or it is too cold outside. They are my main go to pants for traveling and overall comfort. While my Stellas feel like a warm, soft hug wearing them, the Frosts feel like a thicker, heavier friend keeping my legs and hips warmer. I love the ease and comfort of the Frosts in being able to go out in 20 degree weather to 70 degree buildings without feeling like I am going to freeze or sweat.

Wore with a shell xc skiing in sub zero temps, stayed warm and dry. Alone in 20 degree temps they are still really warm and comfortable

Warm but slightly itchy.

The rise on these leggings is really short, and did not come far enough up to my waist. I had to return them. Other than that, the leggings seem nice. The return process, however, is unnecessarily complicated. They will give you a QR code that expires in 6 hours, but they don’t tell you that before you start your refund. If you don’t take your item and QR code to the post office with in 6 hours, you’ve then got to print your own label and attach it to the package. That makes things complicated because I don’t have a printer. So, before going to the post office, I’ve got to go to FedEx to print my label. Either way, you’ve got to package your return yourself. I buy a lot of items online, and Woolx has the most complicated return process. I will not buy from them again because of this issue.

They're disappointing... I sized up just to be safe and I'm glad I did...I barely got my calves into the legs! A plus size butt usually has plus sized legs. The pockets aren't great. ...but they are warm so that's a good point. I'm not returning them but I won't buy again...

I had to return the small size because they were too big. But even the extra small leggings were too long and bunched up around my ankles and behind my knees, so I had to return them too.

Wow, I love these! They are seriously thick, and I think they will be great on my next Alaskan cruise. I go in early May and sit outside on a windy deck, rain or shine (or snow). These and my rain pants will be perfect! It will be a treat not to have to wear multiple long johns this time, lol. It's only moderately cold (30s-50s), but deck sitting and drinking coffee is a sedentary business that makes you cold fast. The only thing I don't love is that the calf part is loose on me, but that's because I'm a fat person who is completely thin from the knees down. They have pockets, too, which elevates any women's clothing. Anyway, these are very good leggings. I'm almost sad I don't need 2 pairs, because they're still on sale and there's a coupon to make them affordable. I recommend them to anyone who needs cold weather leggings or long johns. Btw, I'm wearing them inside right now, and while they would be too hot if I were busy, just sitting at my computer, I'm able to stay cool enough to wear them inside.

I am a loyal Stella Leggings purchaser. But since I live in a cold climate I thought I would try you new leggings for Very Cold weather. They do keep me warm, but they are constantly slipping down. I guess you can't keep every body-type happy! I'll stick with Stellas...

These are the 2nd pair of Frost leggings I have purchased! They are great; comfortable and keep me warm in these frigid Midwest temperatures! Don't know how I survived without them before this year!

I have lived in FL for most of my life but I am going to a Christmas Market in December 2026 and wanted something as warm as could be since I am not use to freezing temperatures. The fit is perfect! I also own a pair of Woolx joggers and I always wear them when I fly.

Doesn't get very cold where I live, but I'm headed to Norway to see the Aurora and bought these because they look warm and comfortable. I've worn them a day or two just to try them out and they are super comfortable. Hoping they live up to the hype about being warm because this is about 30° colder than I've ever been!

I'm a Floridian who is scared of being cold so I bought these for a trip up north. I wore them every day straight and even in the snow. (Looked great and didn't have any odor to them whatsoever when it was finally time for a wash, could've gone longer honestly.) I gave them 4 stars because I could really use an XXS, being 100lbs and 5'3", but liked the length on the regular ones. I do find myself constantly pulling them up and they look a little more like pants on me than leggings. I also definitely felt the cold when the wind blew. However, I have since worn them in 75° Florida and did not get sweaty at all! Definitely a bit too warm for them, but I was impressed. I will be buying other styles, just wish they made XXS.

These truly are the warmest leggings i've ever owned. I agree with other comments that it does keep falling down though when you wear them, so I find myself constantly needing to pull my pants up. The biggest problem I have: there is so much hair that sticks to the pants and balls up. I emailed the customer service team about this but because I got the pants altered (they are very long for my 5"3 height) it makes it ineligible to return or exchange since I thought I got a bad quality pair :(

2nd pair was smaller and fit really well. Very warm and comfortable. I wear under insulated pants for my 8hr shift.

Great quality, but they seem to grow and get bigger on me as the day goes on. I just can’t keep them up and it’s kinda annoying. If that wasn’t an issue, these would be 5 star leggings.

These leggings are very well made but the fit doesn't work for me. I originally ordered these is a Medium. I tried them on when I received them and they felt fine. But when I wore them the first time for a long walk they kept sliding down, as a result besides having to pull my pants up the whole time I also got bad chafing on the inside of my thighs. Because I wore them, I could not return them. I then ordered a size small. They definitely fit better but today I went for a long walk and they too kept sliding down, again I have chafing. I believe washing wool in warm water may shrink them? Is there any advise on anything that can be done with them for a snugger fit?

Soft. Warm. Heading to volunteer at the Iditarod & I need the very warmest bottom layer. Woolx was the universal recommendation.

Sitting on the ice throne at Ice Castles in NH dressed all in Woolx ready for fun without the cold. My new Frost Duralite leggings had me feeling toasty whether walking, on the ice slides or sliding down the hills on tubes. Had a Hannah shirt (Riverbank Green), Elsa long sleeve shirt, Cubby sweatshirt and neck gaiter all in Grape Harvest also on and wasn’t cold. Socks by Woolx, too. So glad I discovered Woolx.

These leggings are a total scam . They are no different from any other pair of leggings. I find it unconscionable that that charge what they charge for what feels like a pair of scratchy leggings from BJ’s or costcos . They definitely pull on people’s emotions with the ads and make it seem like they have some sort of product that is uniquely qualified to be considered better than the average fleece lined leggings . My fleece tights from marshals are warmer than these . I bought them for true freezing winter walks and tested them out in 30 degree weather and they do nothing . I prefer layering my fleece lined leggings with another pair of athleta leggings over wearing these . They are not warm or any Warmer than a pair of Fleece lined leggings .

I pull them up constantly..most leggings stay in place these do not. I did love the material that they were made of. But for the price they should fit perfectly! I will not be ordering again.

Warmest leggings ever! Love them. The hold you in like Pipers and fit similar but seem to fall down just a bit more. But that said, they are still amazing and I wish I'd had them years ago!

These Frost leggings are so comfortable and still manage to keep me warm. They hold their shape and don’t roll down. I’d recommend them to anyone who lives up North or is planning to spend time outdoors in winter weather.

I wanted some WARM leggings to wear here in South Caroline for the winter. These are exactly what I hoped for. Really toasty, even walking my dog in <40 degrees, but not like synthetic fabrics that just trap all the heat and leave you sweaty and gross. I'm able to wear them at least 2-3 times before they start to feel a little saggy and need to be washed again. Also, they are flattering and pretty smooth, not bulky, considering how thick they are.

Perfect fit- 5”6’ 145 - beautiful thick and soft fabric and fit. I’ll wear with boots and dresses instead of faux leather leggings on really cold days.

I don't know, but the sizing seems to be off. I ordered the 1x, but that was too big in the waist. I exchanged for XLarge, and the pants are almost too big. They are almost like slacks rather than leggings. I want leggings, so I'm getting ready to request a size Large to see if I can get a better fit. For $170, I expect a $170 legging fit.

When shopping for a substantial wool garment, this is the only one I could find that is truly thick and luxurious. All others say they're heavy and have misleading photos, but I've tried them and they're thin to medium weight at best. This is the real deal and it lives up to the description. Every bit worth the money for this level of quality - in fact a great value considering it's next to impossible to find.

I have this same legging in both the small and XS. I've had a few other pairs of leggings from Woolx in a size small for many years. I live in Alaska, so having a warmer, thicker option is a must! However, these fit a little different than the other leggings I have from the company. The waistband seems to be a little larger than the other varieties, and it also falls more easily given the added weight of the leggings. I purchased an XS to compensate for this, but the crotch to waist ratio is a little to small. For context, I am 5'8", around 145lbs, and generally wear a size medium in most brands.

Decent leggings, definitely thick and warmer than a basic legging but definitely need a windproof layer for warmth. Would like a bit higher waist to protect from gaps between bottoms and tops. Nice legging. Not worth the price (even sale price).

Good warmth for outdoor activity

I was super happy with the weight of these leggings and desperately wanted to keep them, but there is absolutely no way they are going to stay up with movement. It's the same issue I have with the other leggings from Woolx...they need a drawstring/elastic tie to keep them from sliding down. I'm so bummed because they would have been perfect for the coldest of winter. Maybe someday this will happen so I can enjoy these leggings.

The leggings are very warm. They fit well, but they constantly fall down. I had to take a piece of elastic and push it through the waistband. I cut a small hole through the inside of the waistband and took a large safety pin to pull the elastic through. I tied the elastic. They stay up all the time. You should fix this problem.

I got my regular size in leggings but in your leggings the medium was too large and wrinkled and bunched up on me on my trip.

There’s actually nothing wrong with the pants themselves, except for the fact that they do not fit me and they will not stay up. I have another pair of your black leggings in a size medium and they fit me perfectly. I don’t have any problems with them falling down. These are at least 2 inches bigger aroundthan my other medium sized leggings. I compared the two of them by holding them together. I’m very disappointed because I spent too much money on these pants for them not to be comfortable or for them to not fit.
