I have two different pairs of the leggings. The first pair is for cold weather and the second pair is for the coldest of weather. It has been a very cold and snowy winter in our area, along with high winds. These leggings have been warn every day, off and on for weeks, actually months. Best purchase I made for our week long trip to Iceland in early March. These leggings proved to be both warm and water repellent. I wore them on repeat in rain and snow and only wore my insulated pants over them one night that was wet and extremely windy (40 mph winds). They were so breathable that they were never hot when we were indoors and they are so comfortable. I highly recommend these wool leggings!

I’m 5’0”, 140lbs, got the medium, and wore these leggings in 9F degrees and gusty, and it was great! When we got out of the tour bus at the Sounkyo winter festival in Hokkaido, Japan, I could feel the cold everywhere, but, after a minute, I felt fine. We walked down to the venue, and it was very windy. Throughout the time we were in Sounkyo, we did stop inside various ice structures, but not for long. We were mostly outside, and the only places I felt cold were my hands and nose. And I’m from Hawai’i. The medium stretched well enough around me that I thought I might stretch it out. We had buffets twice a day at times. It was very comfortable! I wore these probably 5+ days in a row, hung it up every night, did use deodorizing sprays the hotels provided (don’t know if that’s bad or not for the wool), and did not feel I had to launder them. My goal was to not do laundry on this trip. Didn’t have to! One day, we walked 34,000+ steps, in and out of indoor establishments (indoors are very hot in winter over there, so I perspired), but mostly outdoors, and it smelled fine. The places that left smells were some of the buffets, yakiniku (grilling) restaurants, and the izakayas (serve food and drink). Those food smells lingered. Probably the cooking oils? After hanging the leggings up for the night, the next day may have had some residual odor, but not much (I did use deodorizing sprays, as mentioned before). Would recommend!

These leggings are absolutely incredible! I have tried every pair of leggings of every brand trying to find some to use as a baselayer in Norway. Other brands weren't heavy enough, were too tight, too low in the back...Finally, the search brought me to Woolx. I was apprehensive based on the price, but realized it was the only remaining option. I should have started here! They are truly perfect: warm, soft, slight compression, perfect length (in petite), exceptional fit for my "athletic" lower body! Beyond that, I had a problem with shipping and they responded immediately, took excellent care of me, and their service was as exceptional as their product! If you're debating about this product, save yourself the time and just do it! The product and company are both that incredible!

So So warm, but the fit is not the greatest. This needs some sort of method to adjust the waist. The pockets flare out slightly at the top which is not super flattering and the crotch fits low. But, these are VERY warm. They don't look super great after a wash.

The leggings would have been perfect. I thought I ordered the ones without pockets but I was sent the ones with pockets. I tried them on just to see for size and they were really big on me. They didn’t feel like a petite size, and I was surprised the XS had room.

These are great for winter! I wore them to walk my dogs when it was about 15° F with some wind. I didn't start feeling a chill until 30 minutes in and even then it wasn't bad! Much better than any pants I've tried so far! The deduction of a star is because they're a little itchy for me and they slip down often enough that I notice. I'd definitely buy another pair!

Quality and stitching was very, very good. Rich luck and fine construction only downside the two recipients found they ran a whole size larger than usual. Sizing suggest you down grade one size when buying these wish the manufacturer would advise so it would’ve saved a lot of returns back back-and-forth.

I was hoping that these would be just as nice as the piper pocket leggings that I wear all winter long, but these just don’t fit quite the same as those. These tend to slide down as I’m wearing them, which is annoying for outdoor sports. It’s a little bit disappointing because my regular piper pocket leggings don’t do that at all. The fabric is also not quite as soft as the piper pocket leggings.

They are very warm. I ordered a second pair. The only thing is they show a dirt and hair etc. But they are warm enough to wear outside and I dont get hot inside. I am a cold person all the time so it was great to fobd these. I would like some other colors- at least gray, navy and brown.

I ordered a small petite in the Frost leggings. The same size as the Piper and Stella. They are very warm, which is what I need for an upcoming trip to Lapland, Finland. I have tested them here with a pair of Ellis tights as the base layer and was warm during a single digit cold Colorado morning. As per usual, I do wish the petite leggings came in the same color options as the regular leggings. At 5'2" and shrinking, these are more than plenty long for me.

I am 5’ 2.5”, 130 lbs. I originally purchased a Medium (my typical size). They were way too big and bulky. I returned and purchased a small. They are better.
They got wet while snowshoeing & became very heavy and ‘sagged’, especially around the waist and bum. Another review described them as ‘feeling like a diaper’. I now understand what they meant.
I purchased another pair, XS. These are the Best fit. We have had lots of sub-zero temps in northern IL already this winter. The thickness has kept me warm while I ruck in 10-degree or warmer weather. Anything colder than that and I still need to wear wind pants over the leggings.

They seem really well made but the sizing is pretty off. I’m normally a size 6 - and sometimes up to 7 in pants (but not tall), so based on the size chart ordered a size small in these. They almost need belting they are so loose at the top. I bought them to layer under other pants and due to extra fabric it was bulky but fine. But I would not be able to wear them alone which for the price is really unfortunate.

Amazing thick fabric!! I was curious how a fabric even thicker than the Piper/Stella leggings was going to be, and I am impressed! It is thick, but still flexible, comfortable and flattering. I wish I could give more like 4.5 stars, but I gave the 4 because I wish the waist/rise came up higher. I like to feel held in, especially with workout and cold weather clothing. It isn’t mission critical, like I am still keeping them and do like them a lot! The lower waist band is the reason I won’t get the Stella leggings. I’ve ordered and returned because that band and lower rise cuts into my waist in an unflattering way. These are a little more forgiving in the waistband comparatively, like they don’t cut in on me so much as the Stella did. The top is shaped more like the Piper legging. Just wish it were like an Inch or two higher up. Great fabric though! Super warm!! Will be wearing them on Colorado winter mountain endeavors!

The fit is ok. I have a pair of the Stella Petite, and I like the fit of those better (higher waisted, more uniform for a small/petite). These are a little loose in the waist, and tight on the calves/legs. Maybe I should have tried an XS, but I fit a Small for the Stella so it's kinda a weird cut.
