This is a beautiful A-line dress, but I wouldn’t call it a twirl dress because twirl dresses have extra fabric at the hem. The Toasted Garnet color is lovely, but the dress fits much like my Harlowe (size Medium) in chest and shoulders, and I wanted a slightly looser fit, so I ordered one in Large. I’ll exchange it for an Extra-Large and see how that fits. Thank you

It is very stretchy, so it feels more like elastic than wool. I wanted a lovely wool dress but can't feel it in the fabric.

I already reviewed this, but wanted to add a photo. The dress shows too much of my kinda bulgy stomach, so I pair it with either a wool scarf or with my fur collar. Both help to minimize the tummy. I also got Piper leggings to wear under the dress because I hate to be cold and the slits go up pretty high.

This dress is lovely, albeit a bit more fitted than I typically wear. I ordered my normal WoolX size. After I saw how it fit, I looked at the photos of the models in it, and it pretty much fits me the same way. So I guess it IS supposed to be form-fitting at the top. I just have to get comfortable with that. Because the slit goes so far up, and I'm always cold, I decided to get the Piper leggings in the same color (toasted garnet) to wear under it. They match very well, and they keep me cozy.

I sized up to a medium and it’s perfect. It’s not tight around my midsection at all and has a great streamlined fit. I love the slits on the side and it’s just a perfect winter dress. Can’t wait to wear it. For Science I’m 5’6, 34C, my weight is around #128. I carry any weight in my midsection. I do love how the top section is fitted and the shoulders would have been too tight if I had purchased a small. Would love another color.

I love everything about the dress except that the slit comes up wayyy too high. Not appropriate for work nor social occasions, and precludes any kind of shorts you could wear for shaping or modesty. Should be probably 5-6 inches lower.

Love the color and ribbed fabric of the Caroline dress. Sleeves could be a little shorter. But overall fit is good.

This would be a great dress if it did not have the raised waistline that it has. For anyone with a longer torso, it will not look the way you imagine. It is very difficult to see the line of the waist on the image of the dress on the website. I think it would be helpful if Woolx included a fuller description of the design along with the photo. If I had known about the raised waist, I would not have ordered it.

Love it , fits great and I have been looking for a long sleeve versatile dress for a while. The color is perfect for any occasion. I don’t really like how long these longer length dresses are for me. So I have had the hems shortened ( still below the knees) by a professional. . Also the slits are too high up for me at my age 77. I’m still average at 5’ 6” and 120 but personally don’t like that much of my thighs showing when sitting and worrying about draping. I admit I certainly would’ve worn them like that in my 20s&40s . So shortening made the slits good for me with all the dresses I have bought in this style. With the Caroline my seamstress suggested closing them totally when shortening them . This worked well and still has the swing when twirling. I would love to see some dresses several inches below knees and no slits at all. I did order dresses with the intention of shortening the slit as I love everything about them otherwise.
