I have been waiting for this to come back in my size and in the color black. It finally did, and so far so good. I haven’t traveled with it, but I really like it and I am looking forward to using it as the weather gets chilly and when I travel. It is nice and thin, and I really love that it has zippered pockets which again, I think will be great for travel.

Unfortunately this large is too big. I usually upsize to accommodate my hips and whatever top I have underneath any hoodie. This one is too wide and too long in the arms. I can grab a handful of material at the waist. And there are no mediums available in black at this time. I’m going to hold onto it for a while and hope more stock comes in so I can exchange it for size. Too bad cause the material feels nice and light.

I already own this in XL and it's an essential part of my wardrobe. I ordered a Large to see if fit better but it was was too small. Luckily returns/exchanges for this company are among the easiest in the business. Customer service wasn't needed for this exchange but they are wonderful. This hoodie sells out often, I highly recommend that you snap it up if you're interested.

I'd really been wanting a Ryann black but they're always sold out in the larger sizes. When a 2X became available, I jumped on it even though I'd been properly admonished that it'd be way too big for my size. I ordered it anyway and it is definitely too big, but I LOVE this "boyfriend-fitting" zip hoodie. However, when a gray in 1x became available, I ordered it as well, which is still a bit big but looks much more polished. Bottom line -- they both have their purposes and I love them!

This is exactly what I need to fly. It’s comfortable, adjusts to freezing airplanes and overheated airports. It’s stylish and doesn’t take up a ton of space because it folds down to fit in a backpack- with other gear - rather than hogging all the space.

I ordered the black Ryann in my first Woolx order in December 2025, as everyone loved it so much. At that time, I don't think I was quite used to how Woolx feels and fits, and returned it. I reordered it in July, in a medium, and I love it and now see what all the excitement is about!!! I have it with me everywhere, and it is awesome when caught in a restaurant or grocery store with too much AC, or for chill mornings or evenings. I love that it is not bulky at all!

I love the Ryman hoodie! It will be perfect for summer and when I need to add a light layer. So soft, shaped beautifully, plenty of room to layer.
May also need the Darby for when I need a little more warmth, but would love it updated to keep that loose fit, but no hood. Hoods are nice, but not great when layered with outerwear.

I'm 5'8" and 220+lb and usually wear a 2XL in clothing. I knew this would be baggy and long per the other reviews, but it's really baggy. I tried to give it to my 6'2, 275lb son and he said it was also too baggy even for him! He's 6'2" and the 2XL came down to his hips so it's also pretty long too (but I expected as much per the other reviews and description). I would have preferred a more form fitting (but not tight) fit and could have gone down to a 1XL or XL - then layered it under another jacket. Since it's sold out, I decided to wash it and put it in the dryer in the highest heat setting to try to shrink it - I don't think it shrunk at all, or if it did, it as not noticeable. So for all those worried about WoolX shrinking in the washer or dryer and accidentally selecting high to medium heat - I don't think you need to worry :D I will say that it's super soft and comfy. I love the zippered outside pockets and the two inside open pockets. I see myself wearing it in the spring and fall. Since it's sold out, next year I'll make sure to buy a smaller size.

I had to buy this again. This is my lightweight jacket for traveling. Somehow I ended up donating my last one to the Barcelona airport. I didn’t find out that I left it until I arrived in Paris. I thought I packed it in my carryon. My husband thought someone had died. I was that upset. As soon as we were heading back home, I had to order another one. I cannot live without it.

It’s the perfect jacket for travel. Because there is no colorful logo (think every sports company) I was able to not only wear it with casual outfits during the day but I wore it in Scotland when the evenings got chilly and we were out for dinner. The softness makes it appear to be much “nicer” than a sweatshirt. I was asked by several ladies in our group if it was cashmere.

I can't imagine any trip where this hoodie isn't a major piece in the mix. It's been to Chile, Brussels, New York, and to the grocery store. Sadly, I lost one on a train and I was devastated and had to immediately reorder.. just wish the stock levels were better because I would have this in multiple colors. This is my new favorite sweater / jacket. It is the right balance of weight and softness. In central Florida, our A/C is a bit too chilly for me, and it keeps me comfortable. If I need to head outside, I don’t feel too hot either. The fit is true to size and is a little loose… just the way I prefer. The length is perfect, too. It comes down to my mid-hip. I appreciate that the pockets have zippers… unlike many of the other merino wool brands.
