I hated every photo I took, but still wanted to leave a review. I'm obsessed with these pants, own them in two colors, would own them in all if I could, and kind of lived in them for much of the winter. I can dress them up or down, they're flattering, comfortable, and toasty! So that's my only complaint. They are too warm to wear now that the seasons are shifting. I need a warmer weather version! :)
I tend to wear a size 12-14 in other pants. (Lane Bryant, Levis) and the Large fits beautifully. The XL was huge on me. I'm about 5'4", so they are a tad long, but I tend to wear shoes with chunky soles or low heels. They would be worth getting them hemmed if I needed to, however.
They also wash and dry beautifully. I typically hang my wool items to dry, but had a quick turnaround in between trips and braved drying them on low. They're still perfect.

I own Ellie in black and love how comfortable it is. I could wear it to bed and get up half dressed in the morning because it is so warm and comfy! I had to have it in gray. These two will be my favorite traveling pants.

I bought these pants in black a year ago. I have found them to be so comfortable, versatile and they still look new! I recently purchased these grey and I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of them. They look nice enough to wear to dinner or a performance and I also wear them for everyday activities. They are quite warm and they wash beautifully.

I love this color and the non-itchy warmth. I had thought I might be able to wear these as pants (not leggings), but I'm not used to such a figure-clinging silhouette. Worse, the outline of my underwear and the hem of my long underwear shirt make a bulge. The waist has a slight gap in back, so a larger size is not the answer. Instead, tunics, I guess. It's a long winter, so I have plenty of time to experiment.

These are my new favorite most comfortable pants. Warm and cozy for cold days, nice deep pockets and heavier weight for winter time. The only reason I gave a 4 star is I don't really like the color choices. It sure would be nice to have some seasonal colors to choose from.

I love the softer interior lining on these pants and the generous bucket style pockets, won’t fall out when I sit down.
These length is almost too long for me and I am 5 9 and the waist band is on the looser side so I would recommend sizing down. They are fitted but not tight on my hips and thighs.

Yummy, buttery, toasty fabric feels so good I never want to take them off. These are nicely and thoughtfully designed. The waist band and slant pockets lay smoothly, and with the smooth rear, too, this Ellie is a very flattering pair of pants!
Wish you made ‘em with a straight leg, too, as your straight legged “Emerson” has a bulky waistband, side pockets that bow out unflatteringly, and those goofy, useless, ill-advised fake back pocket welts that interrupt the smooth line of the bum, and look absurd and deformed under anything but the heaviest and loosest sweater or jacket. Under the nice weighty Blair tunic…fuggetaboutit… Looked like I’d tried to hide two harmonicas in my back pockets.

This is my fourth pair of Ellies, and I am happy to add grey to my Woolx wardrobe. The color pairs perfectly with black or cranberry, to say nothing of red, pink, blue--I could go on and on. I did find them to be too long so I had to shorten them, as I need a 29-inch inseam, but I'm handy with a needle and thread and had no problem. A significant point I would like to make about Woolx clothes is that they continue to fit perfectly as my weight fluctuates. Recently I worked hard to drop 20 pounds. Did my Woolx pants suddenly need altering? Nope! They still fit just right. Thank you, Woolx, for this!

The Ellie wide leg pants are the best pants I have ever worn. They look nice (for work, etc.) but feel like the coziest sweatpants. A dream! I have several pairs and each one has minor differences, but somehow they all work for me. If I could change just one thing it would be to go back to the full wool fabric pocket. My newest pair has a mesh pocket and that detracts from the cozy factor when it’s cold. But everything else is perfect!

These pants are just great - They can be dressed up or down and are a great weight of merino - wide leg so they're not to clingy and hot but warm enough for colder temps. I now have all colors and wear them constantly! They are a great investment and you won't be disappointed!
