I could not love this more. The fabric is somewhat thick and "squishy" but it looks very tailored, not sloppy like a sweatshirt. I sized up and I am glad I did, because I want to use it as a top layer in winter. Even without layers, the size up was sleek and shapely, and skimmed my body in just the right way.

This is my second Finley jacket and I love it! It’s my second because I wore my first one so much that it has threadbare areas and the cuffs are badly fraying.
I wear it all the time, especially when flying. Airplanes can be either hot or cold and wool is the perfect fabric. It travels so well with changing climates and isn’t bulky, nor does it get hot like fleece. Pockets have zippers which is another plus and there are two inside pockets (without zippers). The fit is nice and tailored looking without being snug. A great jacket, just wish it came in navy blue.

The Finley Zip Up Sweatshirt is one of my favorite items of clothing. I had bought it in a different color a few years ago and was planning on buying it in more colors. I am happy that I got my hands on this one (in black) as it seems like you are discontinuing the Finley???

This is my second order of clothes from Woolx. I live on the Pacific coast where it’s cool most of the time. I wanted to try wool for my “first thing in the morning” outfit because fleece gets too smelly. I also was scheduled for shoulder surgery, and wanted warm clothes that I didn’t have to change so often for my recovery. I was so delighted with my clothes - shirt, jacket layers and pants - that I ordered more. They show some wear after a few months - but I wear them daily while in the house. They are very comfortable and do not require washing nearly as often as polyester fleece, so I am very happy.

This is a great basic sweatshirt and thank goodness with no hood!. this has a nice slim fit although not too tight. I generally wear a size 0 or two and this has some extra room for me, but it isn’t baggy. Love it and no, I will get a lot of wear out of it!

I really like how the jacket fits - it's flattering and it comes past the waist. I expected it to feel more cozy and wool-like, but it feels, to me, more stretchy and polyester (even though it is wool with a poly core I believe.) It isn't as thick as I expected. I've been debating about whether to keep it. I'd prefer a pretty color other than black but black was my only option. I'm kind of trusting it will be warm, but I haven't tested it out yet so the jury is still out.

This Finley zip up is super soft, lightweight but warm, and nice and stretchy. I bought it specifically for travel because of the pockets that zip shut, but I will wear it for much more than that. I am 170 lbs, 5'4" and bought the XL. It hugs my menopause belly a little more than I'd like, but the next size larger would have been too loose.

I am very pleased with the purchase of the Finley. It is a warm and stylish base layer for cold winter days. I pair it with a turtle neck or long sleeve t to wear indoors.
When I head out into the cold to walk the dog, I add my down parka. Not having a hood makes it easy to layer under my coat. I love it that I can zip it up and it forms a nice cozy layer around my neck (no need for a scarf). Also, I am loving the long length of the sleeves and the added bonus of thumbholes.
For reference, I am about 5' 8", 125# and a small fits perfectly.

First of all, thank you for offering a jacket like this without a hood, as my workplace doesn’t allow them. This jacket is well constructed and incredibly comfortable and cozy. It’s great for the drafty warehouse where I work, as well as a mid-layer for going out on winter walks. I’m going on a trip soon and plan to wear it on the plane as well as throughout the trip.

This product runs slightly larger than noted in the size chart, which worked out well for me. It was slightly generously proportioned around the waist, so it wasn't clingy as other brands I've tried. The fabric is really nice and dense, and doesn't pick up too much lint or dog hair. I would definitely get this again.

One thing I'd like to see more of are rounded bottom t-shirts-& slightly longer tunic tops-to completely cover the inner thigh area. The rounded bottom is more flattering than the straight across bottom.

The Finley zip is great! Very stretchy and warm but not too heavy either. I first got the large which fit me but I exchanged for an xl to have more room to add layers. I can easily wear a sweater underneath but it’s not too bulky to wear under a raincoat or vest. I have been wearing for winter golf and around town and it’s perfect!

As noted in the description, this is long in the body and sleeves. My arms are approximately 24 inches from shoulder seam to wrist. The sleeves on this are long enough to go past my wrist. I also have very broad shoulders, about 19 inches. This jacket fits my proportions so well! I followed the size chart and the sizing recommendations to get what I thought would be comfortable. I am usually on the smaller side of large before taking the shoulders into account. I went with a large and it was perfect for wearing over light layers. It fits my shoulders with good stretch and skims my torso without being too tight. It was my go to jacket for a week in London in December. A thin, all season wool sweater and thin long sleeve wool tee underneath with a windbreaker on top and I was comfortable for site seeing all week! Super comfortable on the long plane ride as well. An 11/10 must buy!

Went out this morning for a frosty walk (35 degrees F) in my Stella tall leggings (XL), Hannah top (L) and Finley jacket (L) and stayed pretty toasty. I really love the fit of these pieces. I'm 5ft 10 and 175 lbs and these fit me perfectly. The leggings are a bit long even for me but I love them because they go over my socks nicely and keep my ankles warm.

I already have the hoodie, but wanted something somewhat fitted which did not have a hood for layering under a puffer jacket or a raincoat without the extra bulk of a hood. I got this in a medium with my usual size being a medium, and occasionally a small. A medium fits well with room to easily layer a long sleeve tee or base layer under. If I wanted a snugger fit, I probably could’ve gotten away with the small also. This zip up Finley will likely get used as a layering piece on my trip to Scotland in May. i’m very happy with my purchase.

Pros: The cut is athletic but can also be refined enough for a casual office in the (black color way): what I had been looking for.
The Sweatshirt is a nice weight, length (for me at 5’4,” ~165 lbs, curvy) and lays well.
The side pockets are on seam and not bulky. The inside slip pockets are a good option to have.
Cons:
The thumb hole design is odd. I don’t really need it as I was looking for something more like Ibex’s Shak Lite jacket - which is a bit less casual. I would have much preferred a cuff that sat at your wrists. I have to push the sleeves up all the time which make this less comfortable to wear.
Also for the thought put into the design, and the price point, this jacket is missing a two-way/ double zipper. It is also missing a hanging ribbon/hook.
Just a few improvements and this could be 5 stars.

I want to love Finley but the body and sleeves were way too long. I have 3 Ryanns that I love and was looking for something without a hood (but easier to maintain than Macie, which is a wrinkly mess without a lot of effort) to look more professional. I’m disappointed that Finley didn’t work. I’m 5’3”, 125 lbs. with a short waist and active build. Love Layla, Jenny and Mia.

Was disappointing for the 85% Merino wool Content I expected it to be a lot warmer than it was so-I did buy it to be able to wear it on those cooler days in the fall and for a second layer underneath something and so that’s what I’m banking on, is wearing it as a second layer underneath something because I am not really as warm as I expected it to be - I possess other merino wool items and feel it’s a whole lot warmer -so like I stated I’m a little disappointed- the warmth as you promoted is not really there

Finley can be worn comfortably under Cubby for maximum warmth and comfort on by itself or for a more elevated, "I'm warm but this is not a hoodie" look... and since it does not have the banding at the bottom classic hoodies have it is even more elevated! ❤️

Really nice classy zip jacket without a hood. I have Zoey in this size and wanted something a little looser/larger for winter layering so i initially sized up but it was way too big. I’m a size inbetweener XL/1X with my largest measurements being my bust & shoulders. This 1X fits how i hoped it would - and, if i get a second one someday i will probably get XL so that i have different fit options. All this to say, even if you want a looser fit, you might not need to size up. Finley is more generous than anticipated. This jacket can be casual or dress up in this classy black. Excellent zip pockets and garment structure. Another expertly designed piece! Thanks, Woolx!

Ordered size larger than I normally would order to be able to layer even though I believe my regular size would have more shape. I am already going for this jacket as weather gets cooler. I ordered the black and the cinder melange in this for work. It styles as a smart jacket over any top or turtleneck and is professional looking. I did size up in this style to be comfortable. If it was to be worn for activity, a true size would likely be fine, but much more fitted.

The Finley looks very nice, and I really like the thumb holes. It does fit a little tighter than I like, but not enough to want to size up. I do seem to have trouble cracking the code on sizing with Woolx. Some items I am using size medium, some large and some extra large. I do try to use the garment measurements when I buy. But the fabric and construction is all high quality.

Every piece I’ve ordered has been a dream, but the Finley Zip may be my favorite. I order a bit large (I’m 5’4” 160lbs or so) and could probably do a medium, but I love the slightly oversized fit.
I wear these clothes in my role as a venue coordinator wedding whenever the weather is cool and they’re perfect. Nice drape, good silhouettes so I don’t look like I’m wearing sweats, but more comfortable than most activewear!

Took Finley to Paris and she was perfect! Weather was mid 50's sometimes warm, sometimes chillier, sometimes sprinkles. Finley worked through it all, love her collar and zippered pockets. This was a more polished look than a hoody in Paris (because of course a pretty scarf is necessary). Wore this every day for 8 days, layered with other Woolx and once under a raincoat. Could've fit her under my puffer but it didn't get that cold. A great jacket and travel partner!
