This is one of my favorite articles of clothing. In New England I wear a turtleneck at least 6 months a year, most days of the week. I buy one or two of these a year, and they work hard for me. They're great paired with some flat waisted jeans or a simple maxi skirt and dressed up with a colorful scarf. The only thing that has made me sad is when my cat has (twice) caught her claws on my shirt and made a small hole. The hole didn't grow much and I continued wearing the shirt...they're too pricy to just retire for a small hole IMO...so they keep working. I hand wash with Kookaburra Wool soap. It's easy on the hands and the wool, smells great, and is much more effective than the washing machine for long lived garments. Line dry in no time.

I bought the turtleneck since I was doing an Alaska trip. We started in Anchorage and made our way to Fairbanks. Fairbanks was -36 at times. The trip was to see the northern lights. So lots of nights in the cold air.
I had this turtle neck and a pair of long underwear also from y’all. It all kept me warm and it kept me cool as well. These clothes are comfortable, good looking and live up to their reputation.

It was just too large all around. I measured myself and compared myself to the models on the website, but unfortunately there weren’t enough models for size large- just small, medium and extra large so it’s hard to tell.
Also, I seem to be allergic to it; it is a bit itchy and I got some welts when I tried it on and wore it for about 20 minutes.

This is my third Peyton Turtleneck. I have Black, Midnight Sapphire and Deep Plum. It is so soft and warm, perfect for layering. The fit is true to size, fitted and perfect length with leggings. I wear them with my Stellas and Ellis. The Peyton is one of my favorite WoolX pieces and a winter staple!

The turtleneck does keep me warm. I thought it may be warmer, which I was looking for, but it is sufficient. I don’t like how long it is. I’m only 5’6” so it is long and a lot to tuck in. I’m sure a tall person would appreciate this extra length. I also sized up based on the reviews I read. This was not necessary, so I exchanged for my usual size. The return process is so easy. Customer service is a plus. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I may purchase again in the future. The price point is high, but the quality is good.

Two things:
I’ve bought 4 or 5 of these and I love them. They are not, however, very durable, particularly as they’re so expensive. One of mine frayed badly at the bottom and another developed a hole under the arm. All of them show some fraying along the seams.
Unless you are buying a lot of your clothing and on a frequent basis the discount and points expire before they can be used.

I was skeptical about the price of a turtleneck…but since I always feel cold, I purchased 3 items to give Woolx a try. The turtleneck is soft, warm and great quality. During this cold front in PA it honestly has been a staple in my wardrobe. Watching for sale to buy a few other colors. I would highly recommend purchasing.

The neck is super comfy -- not too tight or loose. The sleeves are a tad long, but that's easy to remedy (better long than too short). I'm very pleased.

This shirt is super flattering so I kept it, but it is hard to wear. I get overheated and claustrophobic in it anytime I am inside... the neck is also too tight so i feel suffocated in it. But it is a very flattering cut, if a little scratchy.

My first Woolx was a gift and I loved it. I was gifted others and purchased others for gifts. They were great. I recently ordered another Peyton size Medium. It fit great, but appears to be nothing like my others. I would never think there was any wool in the fabric. It has that rayon feeling. I wore it the other day inside a building where I was doing a craft fair. That’s when I noticed the big difference in quality—I was actually so cold. I wish I could order one of your older ones. It’s so depressing. Just lost my husband so money is tight and decided to treat myself for a change. Well, it’s just not worth it to me. I am so disappointed. I actually have felt so bad about splurging, but my last one actually got a few moth holes in it. I so wish I kept it and had it repaired. I loved it and really miss it. Please return to the good old fabric you once used.

I ordered this having had experience with the same shirt in another color - I just donned the new one and it's very cozy in my cool house with just a vest over the top. At first the neck feels a bit tight, but it loosens just a bit to comfortable in a day or two of wearing - and, like the lighter tops I also love, one can easily go days before odor becomes a problem!

I love the smooth finish. Great for layering and any clothes layered over doesn't bunch up. It's a nice weight also as I've been trying to replace the tired, heavy gauge silk turtleneck sweaters that are no longer available from Wintersilks brand. This will do the job even better.

Soft! (though no micron softness listing - hint hint) but not one of those wool pieces you can wear day after day - it starts to smell after one wear. I think it's because of the thick/non-flat interior seams, maybe they trap odors. I'm becoming sensitive to turtlenecks again and don't like the fabric pressing against my throat; switching to other brands with 1/4 zip-style turtleneck base layers (WITH the fabric strip behind the zipper - hint hint) and a variety of COLORS - hint hint, and flat seams - hint hint.

I think I have Peyton in every color! I've had to size up and block them to be a bit looser but it works. They are so soft (no itch at all) and warm. A winter staple and a great layering piece, particularly with a Sawyer shacket! Probably my favorite Woolx piece.
