ordered this dress for travel benefits… all seasons, no bulk, anti-order, etc. I’m 5’ 125lbs and ordered the S in black. From previous reviews I knew it would be a bit longer on my petite height. The fit actually works for me. Drapes nicely, not clingy. It comes mid calf which I prefer. Superb quality of wool. This is now my 5th piece from Woolx. But, I do hope they will offer Petite sizes! From the reviews, I’m not the only petite frame!

I ordered this dress for a trip to Europe. I love that the armholes fit perfectly. It is a little long in the waist and length. I am 5'4" and if it came in petite it would fit a bit better. The pockets are great!

The cut of the dress is not flattering on me on the sides where the pockets are. The way the pockets are sewn makes “wings” on the side of the hips and there is too much fabric in general in this area.

It fits really well- I’m 5’4” and weigh 158, apple shape. It doesn’t highlight the area around my middle and the length is really nice below the knee. The armholes don’t gape open. I like the feel of the material. I’ll wear it by itself, with a tshirt under, or with a pullover sweater or a cardigan over it. Very nice purchase! I’m sad I missed the sale by one day - I bought it before I saw the sale. No adjustments in case any one is wondering. I was hoping for a little more wiggle room on the sale price.

I purchased this dress in a long length over a year ago. It is very elegant when I wear it. I usually pair it with either the WoolX cardigan or another long and flowing top to amp up the elegance factor. It's a bit warmer than I had hoped, I often end up shedding the jackets. It was lovely to have through the holidays this year. It washes well, though even when I'm sweating it has never really felt dirty - and dries relatively quickly.

This is a beautiful dress I plan to travel with. It fits beautifully (M) on my 5'8", 145 lb athletic frame. I love how easy it is to wear and change up looks w scarves or long t's etc. Fabric is light for packing compactly and since wool will likely wear well for days so I can pack less for trips.

I ordered a small (5'5", 121Lbs, slim build) and it is a bit loose on me, oddly wide in the hip area. The fabric is a bit heavier than anticipated. And there are darts in the bust area that were not obvious on the photos of the dress. This dress is high quality, seems well made, the fit and finish are nice. Since the fit is off for me (wider in the hips than I am, heavier weight fabric than I thought), I am going to return the dress. Would work well for someone more curvy (than me) who is seeking a heavier weight merino dress.

Also, the slits in the sides go up wayyy too high--you can see the bottom of my 5" Woxers when I walk in this dress! That said, I bought several and am enjoying wearing them around the house and to sleep in.

The fabric seems very sturdy. The dress is well made. My only issue is that it doesn't come in petite sizes. I had to spend $30.00 to have it shortened. It's a good thing I bought it on sale. I bought it to use for traveling in particular.

Dress was lovely and great shape for a pear (which I am,) however the fit didn't work for me. Length was perfect hitting me at mid-calf. Top was too large. I had an extra inch of fabric on both sides of my chest. I'm 5'8" and 150 pounds (38, 31, 42). Purchased a large. A medium would have probably worked better but I didn't want to chance it being too tight in the hips and highlighting my stomach. Hopefully this helps someone choose the right size and avoid WoolX's return shipping fee.

I really wanted to love this dress. The fit from the waist up was great and I like the material, but the side pockets ruined the drape of the dress. The dress did not lay flat at the hips; it kind of bulged out on the sides due to the pockets. It was not flattering and made me look bottom heavy.
