I sized down as recommended by FB but still had them roll down in waist and up on the leg. Then I’m just screwed because they’ve been washed. Size chart needs to reflect measurements not just us sizing and needs to be updated to reflect accurate fit for shape wear to prevent rolling
Charlotte W.
Very form fitting, it held in place all day without getting hot. I wasn’t sure about spending such a high dollar amount at first, but I am happy with the investment.
Jeannine M.
I wanted to love these so much, but the legs roll up so much that I have to adjust them all day long. I wish they were just like the bike shorts but in the nude color! The material is amazing, and the compression around the belly is fantastic – but the design for the legs definitely needs improvement.
Leigh Y.
This is my favorite shapewear! It is comfortable on the hottest and coldest of days, and provides gentle shaping.
Stephanie W.
The tummy control panel is great! It smooths my figure and is very comfortable to wear. The height of the waistband is at a desirable level. However, I find the legs rise up as I wear them and they also tent to roll up. both of which are slightly uncomfortable.
Christine O.
These are light but supportive. Perfect under dress.
Anita C.
Quick delivery. Great product!
Elizabeth H.
Super comfortable, but legs ride up and bunch. Worked ok for a loose dress - fortunately - but overall not as usable as I had hoped
J
Really disappointed in these, especially considering how expensive they are. I’m typically between a medium and a large so I ordered the large. I tried them on and wore them around the house for a few minutes and they seemed fine. I decided to wear them under a skirt to do a trip into the city with a fair amount of walking. These rolled up on the legs and became so uncomfortable, all bunched up. It’s no wonder, the leg fabric is really thin and there’s just nothing keeping them from doing that.
Rachel C.
I like the way they feel, but sadly they are too large. Is there any way I could trade for a smaller size?
Heather P.
High-quality and fit well

Usually I'm 100% a Woolx fan. Love the shirts! This was a total bummer though. At first sight I loved that it managed my mommy tummy shelf...that bit of unmanageable stuff that mommies get just below the belly button that no one wants to look at but we all have (without surgery anyway.) So, I happily donned my shaper shorts under my favorite jersey skirt for the day. Ugh. The legs rolled up to my crotch, no matter how many times I pulled them back down. The top rolled down just enough to be annoying; but at least didn't leave weird lines like the rolled-up legs did. I spent the day tugging and disappointed that I had spent a good bit of $$, and now have an unreturnable product because it was worn. I'm sure this was not a sizing issue. I was between sizes, so I sized down. After trying it on, it was clear that if I bought it bigger, it would have offered no control. They really "feel" right...until I move and the shorts move too....in the wrong direction. The top was just the right bit of snugness, the legs were soft and surprisingly not snug...and I don't have skinny legs. They were breathable and not hot, just crazy rolly annoying. Next on my list is to negotiate what to do with this investment. Alas, it's not for me. Sorry, not sharing pictures of this mess!
Carrie A.
Great fit. Love the long length for under my dresses!
Angeles G.
It was very comfortable and fabric is breathable it has a good amount of wool !
Margaret R.
The shorts were not as expected
Barbara B.
The legs keep rolling up.
Susan A.
Great slip shorts. They will be so great during our hot summers under my dresses.
Karen L.
I wanted some shapewear shorts that didn’t roll down at the waist. Unfortunately these roll down just like all the others I’ve tried
Jennifer .
I bought these and tried them on after purchase and they fit (as I figured they would cause I ordered them in my current size) so I kept them. Fast forward to first day I wear them with a dress and I find that they ride up my legs every time I move -- sit, stand, squat, walk, etc. I have to readjust them constantly to the point that they no longer protect my inner thighs in the warm weather, which is what I bought them for. They ultimately end up feeling like an uncomfortable diaper rather than shapewear. Not a helpful purchase for me at all.
Germaine N.
They fit good around the waist but as the day went on the legs rolled up and it was not comfortable. I’d pull them down but they would just roll back up
Susan S.
The top refused to stay up - it slid down and dug into my sides. The legs rolled up and wedged themselves into some uncomfortable areas. I spent the whole day excusing myself to get them sorted. According to the measurements - and all previous purchases they are my size.
But this won't prevent me from ordering from Woolx again!
ERICA M.
Shockingly cool- keeps me from getting too hot!
Kathryn N.
I ordered Large because I don't like shape wear that is so tight that it constricts excessively. But according to the measurements, I am between a medium and a large. I think the large may make the leg portion creep up and the large fits but does not constrict enough, but it smooths. I know that I am in between. So, this may be the best fit I can do. I am large boned, even my doctor says that I am. It fits smoothly on hips and waist without excessive constriction and is perhaps a little loose in the legs.
Lorna H.
These were such a disappointment, they ride up so they’re useless to me! Even at the sale price it’s a lot of money wasted!
Jill M.
I tried them on, great. Washed on cold in a lingerie bag and air dried. First time wearing them yesterday u def a dress on a trip. Legs rolled up while walking. They were really annoying and seemed to create chafing not reduce. Very disappointing. Will be contacting Customer service for a return.
Wendi S.
I love these shorts. They are perfect for under my dresses. They help wick away any sweating and also keep my legs nice and cools. They are really comfortable as well. I will be buying more of these.
stacie t.
These are perfect- snug and smooth without rolling up, down or discomfort. A great layer for summer under dresses and lighter skirts.
Teresa T.
fits great, thanks for exchanging for the wrong size!
Rachael E.
The legs don’t stay put. They roll up and waist band so tick but not enough compression
Shelly G.
I didn’t like to feel or the fit or the way it looked under my pants. It’s gotta come back.
Colleen S.
Ripped after only one use and rolled at the waist.
Sara D.
They were comfortable and I liked the support - but the legs rolled up and I was constantly tugging them back down. The first wearing was great - and then I ordered more before realizing that the legs would not stay down.
Liz
These shaper shorts have the raised tagless tag on the inside. It was uncomfortable because it was raised, but it also created a non-seamless line. I tried turning it backwards, but there was one on both the front and the back. Since I purchased these to wear as a light shaper (as advertised) it seems very odd to have something like embroidered into the front, right on the belly. Additionally, I have tried wool products from 3 other major brands, and this felt like the least soft/comfortable material. In the sand color, these would only work as an under layer, as it was very sheer throughout. I did give two stars because the compression was great, just as advertised with a light smoothing effect. However, the raised inner tag ruined the smoothing effect.
Robin N.
Very comfortable
Kate M.
The legs roll after sitting, but otherwise great. No rolling while walking. Comfy.
Sage S.
These are a little short so if you have big thighs they role up. then they are just like bulky underwear. I was pulling the legs down all day. Very dissapointed.
Charity E.
When I first tried these on, I was so excited, thinking I had found the perfect replacement for my Woolly underwear.
I made it out of the house wearing these before I realized that I was going to have an absolutely miserable day.
First, the legs kept rolling up. No matter how many times I adjusted them or pulled them back down, they always rolled back up after walking more than a couple feet.
As if that weren’t frustrating enough, then the waist band kept rolling down! That extra length that extends above the natural waist does NOT stay in place, folding down and bunching.
If you took the extra length from the waist and added it to the legs instead, making a product with a “high waist” that actually stops at the waist, and an inseam of longer than 7”, it would probably be perfect.
The level of compression is otherwise nice, just a gentle but firm pressure, like a pleasant hug. But the wrong length of fabric on the waist and legs results in unavoidable rolling, making these completely unwearable.
Sylvia D.
these are very comfortable and provide just the right amount of support. I was concerned about them being itchy, but no problem at all!
Carol A.
I have not worn it for the wedding guest event I bought it for yet. I have practiced wearing it for several hours in the meantime. It does tend to roll at my waist a bit more than I’d hoped and the legs shift up after a bit of moving about too. I’m still willing to try it for the wedding because it seems like a good alternative to synthetic fabrics that I don’t care for. Hopefully I won’t find myself tugging and readjusting it - we’ll see.
Rhonda F.
The shapewear is soft, breathable, and comfortable. It has a light control and is not binding.
SHEILA Z.
These shorts are fantastic. I love that the waist band is not so small that it's constantly rolling down. I must say I was shocked at there being NO odor after wearing them for a day! Can't wait to take them on vacation with me this summer!
Patricia
They ride up. I will not be buying them again.
Megan S.
The leg portion keeps riding up and chafing- the very reason I want the shorts to begin with is to eliminate chafing— I can’t wear them. And they were expensive.
Julie M.
Material not flattering under dresses. Scratchy and just not comfortable
Colleen T.
The hem around the legs rolled up - the cut edge - causing discomfort on the inseam. The top edge also rolled down and I purchased the size according to the size chart. Just not the right item for me.
Barbara T.
My hip and waist size are between a Small and Medium. I was advised by Woolx support to go with the small as it's very stretchy. Also, another reviewer mentioned she was in between sizes and decided to go with a small because it was shorter. I am happy with my size small. It is very comfy. If you are worried about your belly spilling over the top (like I was) and you are in between sizes, then go with the larger.
Priscilla W.
I have not worn them yet. I tried them on and the legs started to roll so I pulled them up shorter. The waist also rolled some. I am a short waisted woman. It may work for short periods of time- like fine for church.
Karen K.
Fit very well, nice and soft. I don’t feel constructed at all.
Amanda J.
They weren't very effective at shaping and rolled up and down.
Amy S.
I was hoping they wouldn't ride up in the thigh area, but they did!!
I wore them out to dinner and got uncomfortable by the end of the night. I was very disappointed with them, they're worse than the ones I've been wearing. The wool was a little scratchy on my sensitive skin.
Crystal P.
I was disappointed with these. They’re less effective and also less comfortable than a basic pair of athletic shorts I was wearing under dresses.
Bev D.
Fit fine, but I prefer a longer inseam. I ordered two and haven't opened the second package, as I won't wear these. They are too short for my comfort.
Ciara R.
The length is too short. I’m only 5’3” and got a large but the shorts constantly ride up and roll up. I would not recommend the product.
Amanda W.
These stretched out within the first 30 minutes of wearing, and from then on, would roll up within 10 steps.
Maybe you need a thigh circumference measurement to help ensure those of us with larger thighs don't have stretched out and useless shorts.
Was so excited to find wool ones to replace the synthetic (and hot) ones that I had been wearing, but these are not it.
Rachel P.
Great item. Quick shipping
Valerie M.
The Marley Shapewear shorts are exactly what I was hoping for. They fit according to the chart, nice and snug but not restricting. Love they have no seams for underneath form fitting dresses and rise high over the belly, so no digging right around the waist line. They’re very soft and move with me, so comfortable. I chose size M with a 29” waist.
Sara B.
The fit is perfect and very comfortable even in warm weather.
Kathleen V.
I just didn’t like the material. It felt too thick.
Caitlin
Fits really well and so soft
Heather H.
My initial reaction is good!! They are comfortable but legs do roll a bit.
Janice
Very comfortable but the lega ride up.
Bev D.
Leg length is too short. I would prefer at least a 7” inseam. Otherwise, good job
Amy G.
I returned it. It wasn’t like the website described at all.
Ellen B.
They are super comfy in texture. They are breathable as well. I wish the shorts were a little longer. If I had them fully up for tummy control, the shorts kept rolling up.
Cheryl R.
Not the color I was expecting— more pink than light tan/nude. Not my fave, but ok.
Amanda H.
they are very comfortable and slimming without being too tight
Sarah W.
Even after returning a L, still the M top rolls down and the legs roll up. Total waste of money.
Michelle K.
I'm short in statue and short waisted. I also have easily irritated skin on my inner thighs -- maybe this is a common problem as we get older. For me, the leg length was a little too short to prevent inner thigh rub and the top was a little too high to be comfortable.
Jennifer M.
I’ve tried a lot of Shapeware and these are comfortable. They stay in place and they have just enough hold to look smooth under clothing.
Heather D.
Legs roll up :/
Elaine H.
This didn't work for me. I ordered size small (I fall between S and M, depending on the cut and brand, but Woolx leggings in small). This has light compression, but I didn't really see much difference with my belly. The upper edge fell somewhere between my waist and braline, so it did squeeze up enough to exaggerate my back roll. For reference, I'm 5'2", 128#, over 50 y.o. Perhaps it would have been better if it went higher up to the braline.
Jennifer
Was very soft and felt breathable. I was at the top of the measurements for the largest size and it was just a little too small. The legs would also have been too short to prevent chaffing. So wish it would have fit. I can't find anything else in a natural fiber.
Katharina P.
I enjoy the Marley shapewear under dresses in warmer weather to prevent chafing. They are comfortable and provide a bit of support in the tummy area. I find them to be both cool and warm which is the magic of merino wool.
Leslie G.
Love the feel of the fabric and the top compression, but the hem of the legs tend to roll up. I’m bummed because I was hoping they would stay put a bit more for the price. I’ll probably still wear them because they are more breathable than my other shapewear- but I don’t think I’ll buy another pair.
Iris W.
These are way too thick and heavy especially the top part. I will not be able to wear in the summer as I had planned.
Paula G.
BEST shapewear ever! Don't hesitate
Barbara A.
They seemed great at first, but they ride up my thighs and I ended up tugging them down several times (I was wearing them under a dress). Actually, the waist area wasn't staying in place either and was rolling down. They didn't seem too big or too small, so my guess is the fabric weave wasn't strong enough for the task. I'm 5'5" and 138 lbs.
Jennifer
They run large, and they are really not shapewear. Its wonderful that they are a natural fabric, and would be good to wear under some dresses. For reference I’m 5’9 weigh 145 and I should have gotten a xs not a small. They really have no compression, but do provide a smooth look to some pants. The leg bands roll up easily when pull your pants up, so you have to be mindful of that or there will be a lump around your legs….
Lisa R.
Love the shorts very comfortable
Susanne J.
The legal constantly rolled up on me. I did not end up wearing it under my dress. Very dissatisfied.
Sharon L.
Not as expected. The ads state that the top does not roll down, but unfortunately it does!
TRICIA R.
fits great! wish the tummy control part went more of the way down from the waistband because they are so highwaisted that the control doesnt hit my lower belly where i need it most, but overall comfortable and happy with the purchase. exactly what i need under dresses and skirts!
Loreta P.
The shape wear is worth every penny! Comfortable beyond belief, and smooths lumps. I live in Tucson Arizona, it works great under dresses. It's Comfortable even in heat.
Jeanne M.
So comfy and yet slimming. Not like the strangeling torture of other shape wear.
I bought this item to go under a ribbed dress to both get rid of pantie lines and provide warmth. An A+ on both goals!!!
Well done Woolx!
Christy C.
They feel and fit great! and v e r y comfortable!
I recommend them and will likely be buying more items from Woolx!
Maggie W.
Baggy, bunches up and rolls up my thighs, not smoothing. I really wanted to like these and at this price point I expected something great and innovative. Instead, I’m wearing I’ll-fitting wool shorts under a dress, not flattering.
Marie T.
Legs rolled terribly...not a winner for me.
Claire P.
When I first put the shapewear shorts on I was in love! They made my tummy look great under a fitted dress and are soft and comfortable and high quality. However as soon as I walked a flight of stairs the legs rolled up all the way which left me basically wearing a large pair of underwear without the help against thigh chafing. Perhaps if they were longer shorts they would stay in place better? For reference I am 5’4”, 165lbs with a booty and thighs and got the size L. Hopefully they work better on those with thinner thighs? I really wanted to love them but not sure what my options are now since I wore them once. Disappointed.
OG O.
I am not happy with where the compression hits. I still have a space between my pelvic bone to half way between my bellybutton so the lower tummy hangs beneath the compression making a worse roll that without it. So I feel as though I wasted a chunk of money.
Laurie S.
I like the feel and fabric of this shaper. It rolls down on my stomach, which I don't like, but that seems to happen to me with any high-top shaper. It is still more comfortable than my old ones, so I will keep it.
Susanne G.
I love the smoothing effect. I truly feel smooth and shapely.
Angie
These have so much potential but I need to return them. There’s a Woolx branding stitched into the inside of the front waistband (such odd placement), which leaves very visible lumpy lines that show through my dress. It looks like surgical scars. The sheep logo tramp stamp on the back of the waistband didn’t really show through the fabric though. The biggest issue for me though is the leg openings. The seams bulge out, I think because the excess fabric rolls on the inside, which is very uncomfortable and also very visible through my dress. I will be sending these back but I’m hopeful Woolx will upgrade this style for a future season.
Lisa
Love Woolx great products
Jessica S.
Very comfortable. My biggest problem is that the legs rolled and bunched up.
:( the support around the middle though is very nice. This is a problem I have with all shape wear. I think if the shorts were a bit longer it could help.
I have large muscular legs. And my shorts always ride up.
Lori K.
They roll up on the thighs and roll down at the waist. I'm a size 10 and bought a mediym so I didn't purchase the wrong size
Caitlin A.
Material and shaping fit are comfortable just to try on, but the wearing experience does not even come close to working for the purpose I bought them — to prevent thigh rubbing as advertised. They roll and ride up immediately, making chafing worse than if I wore nothing. There is no way I could wear these all day without constant adjustment and discomfort. I’m tall and curvy in the thighs, so perhaps they’re just too short a length to start.
I typically love wool garments because I can forget I’m wearing them, and was so excited to see shorts like these being made. Super disappointed that I won’t be able to use them
Yvonne P.
I wish the compression panel was longer and goes into the lower abdomen more, otherwise they’re comfortable and helps with no sweating
Shani B.
I really wanted to love these and was ready to throw out all my synthetic ones. Unfortunately, the legs on these won't stay down. I have bigger thighs, but that is exactly why I like to wear a little compression under my dresses. The legs just rolled up to the top and made an unsightly bulge under my dress. I feel like they need to be longer or at least have a rubberized edge to help keep them in place.
SHANNAN H.
Not firm enough to shape
