Avoid fabric softener. Though it won't damage the clothing it does coat the fibers in a wax that neutralizes many benefits of Merino.

perfect ski gear

I'm a 5'3" petite woman and the Balaclava fits under my helmet and around my goggles perfectly, It stayed up over my nose all day without needing adjustment, and sits just enough off my face to avoid the clammy "wet mask" feeling even after a full day of downhill skiing in 20 degrees. Please make it in a fun color and I'll buy another one. Makes a perfect gift too.
