Too straight in the skirt. An “A” line for some swing would be ever so much more flattering. I had quite a time with this order. Eventually ordered a size much larger than my normal size and sadly, still did not care for the style.

I originally purchased this dress in a size S, but felt it was a bit snug and returned it. Sadly, the size M was not available until later this spring. The M feels a bit large, but better a little big than feeling too snug. I look forward to wearing it next fall and winter. (Yes, I am aware that wool can be worn year round, but black, long sleeves would look a bit out of place in Oklahoma in July)

These are great dresses! I bought the plum colored one and then ordered a black one as well. They fit beautifully! The length is perfect! And they travel very well. Great for any season in the North East! They will hold up for years and never go out of style. A great classic!

Great dress but the pockets do not lie flat agaist the side seam. THey stick out and do not make a nice line across the hips, even though the dress is loose. This is a design and sewing problem that could be fixed.

Love the Rissa dress! It's a great basic to dress up or down. I ordered a Large, my usual size, but it's too roomy so I'm sending it back for a Medium. I'm 5'2" so it just covers my knees, which is my preference in my mid-70's. Perfect travel dress for a trip to Scotland in September.

I haven't had my dress long, but it came in useful when I visited cousins recently in N Ohio. It does cover a wide range of temps...45-80 in one day. The pockets are perfection. Not sure if I can edit reviews. If I can, I'll post an update on extended wear, laundering, etc.

This dress is elegant and yet very practical. Dress it up or down with a cardigan,wrap, or a jean jacket and jewelry. The sleeves are fitted and the skirt is A-line, both of which are slimming. It’s super comfortable! I’m 5’4”, 155 lbs and the dress is a bit longer than I would like, but I will try washing it a couple of times before having it hemmed.

I ordered the 1x which was too big. Exchanging was a breeze. I now have the xl which still has plenty of room. I could go down another size, however...the xl seems a bit shorter than the 1x and I do not want it shorter. I will wear this with tights. Personally I would love a 3/4 sleeve that is below the knee...even midi length.

This is such a versatile dress! The fabric weight is just heavy enough to give it that good-quality feel, and yet it still swings nicely. I have put various tops over it to dress it up or down. It will be an essential part of my wardrobe now, especially when I travel. The fit is quite comfortable (SP) for me, (5'0", 112 lbs), and the length is just at my knees. I'm quite proud of myself for making such a good purchase!

I love merino wool but most of the dresses are just too tight in the middle making me look bigger than I am. I also have a scoliosis and this lovely loose flowing dress hides all my imperfections. I also prefer the look of swing dresses to tight dresses. This will be a favorite!

I really liked the fit and feel of the dress but unfortunately I could not rid it of static. It clung to my legs and looked terrible when I tried to wear it with leggings. Erika in Customer Service gave me several suggestions but sadly none removed the excessive static in the dress. I really liked the fit and was disappointed that I had to return the dress.

This is my favorite WoolX dress and have bought it in black and teal. I live the cushy thickness of it, not too thick but not thin like other wool dresses I’ve purchased. It fits me perfectly, not too thick bra straps showing at the shoulder, the length is great for me (5’6). Some dresses are just a touch too short for me. This one shows my knees but I don’t feel like I have to wear leggings with it. It dresses up beautifully with a statement necklace and cute shoes or it looks casual with boots or sandals. For me, this is a perfect dress. I hope it’s back next year in more colors!

Best wool dress with classic lines
This dress with flatter every figure! The A-line gives plenty of room in all the right places. I dressed it up with a color scarf and had many compliments on it. I am 5ft 3inches and weight 138 lbs. The petite medium fit me. Some people might want a tighter fit but during winter I wear a cami underneath and tights.

Yes to the dress!
WoolX fabric is definitely more substantial than “the other guys (Wool&),” which is a huge plus! It also feels softer against the skin. The fabric of the other company’s dress is flimsy and a little rougher feeling. Saying “goodbye” to them and hello to my new favorite, WoolX! I got the size small for my 5’2” 120 lb frame. It falls at the knee and sleeves would almost be considered a long sleeve vs 3/4 sleeve on me. However, it looks just fine.

Nice dress
I like the feel and weight of the dress, and the pockets are terrific. I would like it more if the length was a little shorter, and the neck was cut a bit deeper; it's a very t-shirt-style neckline, particularly with the wide collar trim -- a very "casual" note on a dress that is classier than that. Overall, it's a nice dress, but a tad conservative/meh for me.

I absolutely love the new Rissa dress! I travel quite a bit and it will be perfect to pack this fall and winter. Fits like a long sleeved Clara…very flattering A line…not too short, not too long. Can dress it up with a scarf or go casual with a denim jacket. I ordered it in basic black…but teal is calling me ❤️
