My go to. So pleased I opted in grabbing another. Recently it was single digit cold. What a concept/ perfect solution ~~> wear both, one inside the other. As offered previously... a very soft/ never itchy/ never needs adjusting/ easy to forget I’m wearing it hat. Perfect for use in sleeping in a cold house or when camping. This material has give and is naturally stretchy... in the ultimate way. Fits fine with a top knot that generally lands between L and XL with most companies. ✓ ~~> very warm and packable for its relative weight and lightness. It’s a given that ears will tend to get cold easily. It's made 'long enough’ (there’s enough material IOW) that the wool can be rolled to dual layer the ears. Also, if it’s really frigid one can pull the hat down further covering more of the neck. Trust the reviews as IME they’re not a bit of hyperbole. This is a great hat. On no level a purchase that you'll regret.
