It's a bit loose at the waist. How much tighter is the same skirt in the Medium size than the Large size I ordered and received? One inch less at the waist? Two or more inches ;ess at the waist?
I'm tempted to just send it back rather than try the medium when if its too tight I'd need to send that back too.

I love the fabric, waistband, and pockets. I'm 5'8" and it's just too short for me. It hits right at my knees and no matter how I style it, it looks frumpy I am open to ideas about how to style it, just can't seen to figure it out.

I wish Marilyn had a small waistband. That large waistband just molds around my big stomach, thus I have to cover it up with a shirt. Since I am petite, I need to make sure the shirt is not too long. I’m keeping the skirt, but not in love with it.

Flows nicely and has pockets- but they don’t make the skirt bulky. Have tried with a couple tops and have not hit in the just right one yet…. Figuring out if I like a sweater/shirt over the wide waist band, or want to try something tucked. Any styling suggestions welcome esp for size large ladies and not the willowy 5’7” 130 pounds crowd!

I have been looking for an a-line black skirt that hits just below my knee for 2 years and this one works! Thanks to Woolx for featuring different size models and listing their heights and measurements this is a perfect fit. I am 5'11" and size 16 and bought the XL and this hits just at the bottom of my knee cap. Fabric is substantial and soft with nice drape.

I’m really disappointed. I love the fit, style, and material of the skirt. I was really excited to bring it with me on a 5-week trip. However, I wore it for the 4th or 5th time, today, and the skirt started slipping down like the waistband elastic is failing.

The wide panel around the hips is design genius. So much better than a standard waistband! It trims and defines beautifully. Fantastic smooth pockets. And of course the wash and wear that makes like so easy.

This is based solely on size, the actual product is very nice. It’s just too big for me. I have a “boyish” shape and this skirt will be perfect on a woman with some more curves in the hip and butt area. The fabric and the pockets and the waist is great! just not made for my shape.

I started with the grey and found myself wearing it ALL. THE. TIME!! Since I choose my clothing based in an adult Geranimal style, I needed black one to offset all the grey I have. Both are so comfortable, versatile, full of pockets and with limited washing...are always available. Cherry on top, I can roll them up, add a pair of leggings and I am good on the bottom half for any trip. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Perfect fit ... on me 5'2", 108, XS hits just below the knee. The wide waist section lies flat and isn't too tight, the pockets lie flat, fabric is great weight ... not to heavy, but substantial enough to hang beautifully. I much prefer it to a similar skirt from another maker, that I ordered first, and returned. I'm 80 and expect to wear it frequently, in all seasons.

This is a very nice, well constructed and solid skirt. I went with this skirt over a similar skirt from another brand because it is slightly heavier weight, and I'm glad I did. I think it will wear quite well over time and it hangs nicely (once I found my correct size). If you are between sizes, or at the very bottom end of a size, I suggest you size down. Based on the size charts and garment measurements I thought I was between sizes if not at the low end of the larger size, so I went larger not wanting it to be too tight. I had to exchange for the smaller size because the skirt was so loose at the waist that it would not stay up. With that said, the skirt is the same size that I typically order in dresses and pants. So if your dresses and pants fit well around your waist and hips, I suggest that you go with that same size even if the charts tempt you to do otherwise.

Overall, I like this skirt. However, it has unfortunately located pockets just like the Cassie dress. They poke out so much that I asked a tailor to close them up (feels like a travesty since it's so nice to have pockets on skirts and dresses).

I have a lot of Woolx in my wardrobe and was excited to add this as an option to wear to work in warmer months. (The Ellie Pants are my go-to in the winter.) The quality of this skirt is great, as I've come to expect from Woolx. It is lightweight but still opaque, providing coverage. I just have a few issues with the fit. Even wearing this very high / above my natural waist, the pockets seem way too low and awkwardly placed. I think I'd prefer a narrower waistband (like the one on the Stella leggings) so the pockets fall higher up. That said, I've worn this skirt with the waistband folded over, and that seems to work fairly well. For reference, I am 5'6" and generally order standard fit (as opposed to petite or tall). I am definitely keeping this skirt but probably wouldn't order another color unless the fit changes.

The fabric and construction was nice. I liked the idea of this skirt, but it just did not have a figure flattering fit as most of my A- line skirts, that are cut on the bias- so softly drapes along my hips. This had a more bell or tepee shape. The pocket placement was also very low, around my finger tips level. Sadly I had to return it.

Good travel skirt
Love the length and the pockets and the flowy feel. Wish the fabric was a little heavier. Wore with stella leggings and needed a slip. Also not a big fan of the waist band. I Would like to be able to tuck shirt in and use a belt with it, but it does not look good with the super wide waist band. I did end up keeping it and it does look cute - just needs a few improvements for next iteration. I will use for travel.

The pockets, length, and skirt shape are great. It’s a nice weight. The waistband is oddly wide and high; I suppose that allows one to adjust the skirt length up or down. It does grab onto leggings underneath it unless they are silky.
