Wonderful material but the sizing is really off. When I buy items that have a loose fit, I order down a size to fit my petite frame. Xsm was the size recommended for me on the website for this item but when it arrived today is was too small. I assume that when an item is made to go over another shirt that it is sized to do so. This was not the case and I'm disappointed. Luckily I have a couple of weeks before my trip so I'm returning it today so I'll have the correct size before I leave.

Love this wool hoodie! Wore it the first time today walking the dog. It is the perfect weight for a little extra warmth under a light jacket. I ordered a size down from my usual for a slimmer fit for layering, although it is nice unzipped as a hoodie/sweater with a nice casual look.

I am 5 foot 9” 320 lbs. I purchased the 3X Ryan hoodie, black, fits me perfectly. The sleeves are long enough. It is not tight through my midsection and looks great. I was concerned about the sleeves itching my arms if I wanted to wear a short-sleeve T-shirt, there is no itch. You can just tell something is on your arms. Ii is very comfortable wearing a T-shirt with short sleeves. I run hot and didn’t want to have to wear long sleeves underneath the sweatshirt. I did wear it out and 44° weather with sunshine and a slight breeze and I was extremely comfortable. It is not windproof or wind resistant in anyway it is totally meant for layering. I would recommend this product and I will purchase it again in other colors.

Just took this hoodie on a 10 day trip to Italy from October 12-21. It was perfect and worked out well. However, now I wish they had a style that was more of an upscale cropped cardigan for regular dinners out. The fit was good. I purchased a size small in black and I am 5’3”/4” at 120 pounds. It had room to layer things underneath as well if necessary.

I ordered a medium and it was too big in the hips. I had a seamstress take it in for me. I think the Ryan zippered hoody runs a bit large compared to the other medium wool tops I've ordered. I probably should have ordered a small. I'm 5.5 and weigh 130 pounds.

I bought the hoodie for travel, and boy did it work well. Never felt like it needed washing my hole trip (10 days). I used it as a jacket most days, even had it when I got caught in the rain, not rain proof but my inner clothes didn't get soaked and the hoodie dried pretty fast. Do not regret this buy.

The zip up sweater hoodie arrived and smelled foul. I meant to return it but got distracted and missed the window, so I washed it. That did take away the smell, and it also softened up the fabric, which is good since it was rigid when it arrived and felt awful. It was much better after washing. That said, this sweater is long. I’m 5’7” and it is very long in the torso, which I don’t love, as it looks frumpy. At this point I’m going to leave it in the car and use it when I’m out and it’s cold inside with the a/c. I was super excited to finally order from Woolx as I’d been waiting for this sweater to come back in stock. I did not find it impressive at all, but I am glad that a good wash/dryer got rid of the smell and softened up the fabric.

Love the quality of this hoodie. Definitely worth the price. I am 5'3" and 170 lbs. Originally ordered a large and it fit but was snug. Exchanged for XL and it's roomy so I can comfortably wear tops beneath and still zip if needed. Exchange process was fast & seamless.
