Stretchy yet supportive. It doesn't dig in to my stomach but still holds me in a little bit. I think it is more stretchy than the Ellis leggings (which I also love). The leggings look like a similar fabric, but the leggings are a little more compressive. The underwear is very high waisted, which is a style that I like because it gives more coverage under dresses.

I got my woolx briefs before a trip to Ireland. Not only were they extremely comfortable, but easy to wash in the evening and dried quickly overnight. I'm so happy I found these briefs! I will definitely get more.

The fabric itself is wonderful. However, there was little to no elastic in the legs. I hate when panties ride up. I tried on one pair of the three I ordered and ended up sending the other two back. I think at that price I should have loved them. Maybe think of adding something to help keep them in place.

I first bought XL in black. I wore them and kept them. The leg elastic is big and they bunched up. I sewed the elastic smaller and they're fine now.
I ordered L nude and that fits much better. They are soft and comfortable. I'd recommend sizing down because they seem to run big.

Really like this underwear. Very smooth, light and comfortable, and I keep buying more to replace my cotton ones. The only concern I have is cool water-washing and drying on delicate cycle for sanitary reasons. I’ll experiment with one pair in warmer water and drying mode to see how they come out. Sorry, I don’t dare submit a picture of me wearing them!

I was so excited to finally find full coverage merino underwear but the cut on these is a disappointment. I am a size 8 and bought medium but the bottom of the back rides up and makes me want to tug it down. The seam at the back of the crotch is very narrow and the underpants don’t fully cover the bottom of my butt. So bummed.

The Mabel underwear is one of my favorite purchases from Woolx. The material is very soft and comfortable, and they stay up without being binding. I called customer service for size selection since my waist measurement is slightly above the range indicated, and decided to go with my normal size after the representative advised the material is stretchy. They’ve been worn and laundered several times, and seem to be holding their shape well. Can’t wait until they’re available in black again!

High waisted sure, but just because I wear an XL doesn’t mean I’m six feet tall. I’m 5’4” which I believe is average height in the US. The waist is hitting closer to my bra than my belly button. I really wanted to like these as it’s hard to find wool women’s briefs, but these aren’t working well enough for me to buy more.

Perfect fit. My running coach recommended wool underwear as an alternative to the usual ones I wore for our longer runs. Very pleased with my purchase from Woolx. The material is thicker than I like. They come above my waist but the waist is too tight to size down. It is rare that I do not like a wool X product but I will not be reordering these. Somehow the fabric is also itchy... perhaps it is the nylon and elastane.

Disappointed. The inside double crotch layer is not attached in front, which is just plain weird and I can't see any advantage. These fit higher in the front than back and don't fully cover my behind. The fabric is comfortable but overall these are tough to recommend.

I am thinking next time I should try XS in the underwear. I love a full coverage brief that stays in place on my cheeks. The fabric is awesome. My only issue MIGHT be size...the small might be a bit large, as it doesn't stay in place on my cheeks and rides up. I can't be sure if that's a cut issue or a size issue until I try a XS. I will dry them next wash and see. I love the high waist!

Having had such a great experience with the Hayden Bra, I decided to try the Mabel briefs as well. When I first put them on I was surprised to find that the rise is considerably higher than any other high briefs that I’ve worn. I thought it was both good and bad - good for wearing with pants or leggings that are also high rise, but bad because I’m short waisted and they might bunch or sag for being too long for my body. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they do neither. After wearing them for a few minutes the waist settles naturally at my waist and the rest conforms perfectly to me. They are very comfortable.

The material is very nice, the sizing is good, they are comfortable to wear; however, they do creep somewhat. If the elastic around the buttocks area of the leg was a bit shirred I think that would correct the creeping for me.
