You don’t have to wait for a sale as these are worth every penny at full price. I put these and the Roxie to the ultimate test by bringing a pair of each on a 30 day motorcycle trip. Heat, cold, peeing in the ditches and “a bathroom” accident, they held up like champs. If you need minimalistic clothing for travel, these are perfect! For reference I’m 5’4” and weigh 125 - bought a medium. Great fit and excellent quality. Everything this company makes is worth every penny. No complaints on any of it (a long sleeved shirt, undies, the bodysuit and the thick hoodie).
Ramona K.
These are my most favorite style ever!! I bought the boy cut prior to this pair and the waste band felt snug and really showed through my clothing. This pair feels like they aren’t even there. I also love how the merino breathes so well. I didn’t think panties could be so comfortable in every way!

I'm trying out this product for potential to take on a trekking trip. Need light, easy to clean and odor resistant for the trip. These are very comfortable to wear. Washed easily in the sink with some wool soak type detergent. Took 2 days to dry in air (it was humid, no ac and no direct exposure to sun). I like the product; it does what the advertisement says.
Katharina P.
Not my first pair. Once I found my correct size, I'm 100% in.
Eve P.
Love these underwear, fits well and feels great. Favorite style of all. Thanks WoolX!
Heather S.
Comfortable and dries super quickly.
Patricia C.
Well made , and usual Woolx quality!!
Sarah K.
I'm 5'9" and the medium fits well. It did shrink slightly when put into a warm dryer by anther family member by mistake. I am going on a hiking trip soon and will see if it truly dries very quickly overnight.
Cindy E.
I very much wanted these to be my favorite undies but after multiple try’s, they were just not it. I typically wear cotton and expected a similar weight fabric but the wool was just too heavy for my liking.
Kathryn H.
I tried the Maeve bikini a couple of years ago and did not like the old school elastic band. When I saw the new style I decided to give it a try and discovered my new goldilocks undies. Perfect for my body type. The waistband perfectly sits a couple of inches below my belly button, the leg holes don't cut in or ride too high, and the gusset is the perfect width with no bunching. Love them and will be ordering more.
Sheila T.
I just love the Maeve bikini underwear. I’ve been adding a pair or two to all of my orders and have replaced all other materials. I now have a completely Woolx underwear drawer.
Barbara H.
This is my third order of the Maeve underwear. Slowly eliminating all the others in my wardrobe. I love the fit. They are more of a hipster, than a bikini.
Faith F.
True to size; fits well.
Marika P.
Love it. Smooth, comfortable, stretchy, light weight. A winner for sure.
Joyce O.
Quality and comfortable.
Marla J.
I love these undies and their luxurious fabric!! I will see how they hold up!
Linda J.
A good fit for me, though they do come up pretty high. More of a hipster style than a true bikini style. The fabric is both lightweight and substantial. I was worried about wearing wool underwear, turned out not to be a problem. Soft and comfortable - yes. Hot and itchy - no.
My only minor complaint is that the crotch part is half an inch wider than my normal bikini underwear and I can feel the difference. I was afraid that it would rub and be irritating, but that has not been a problem.
Love that they're seamless and stay in place without riding up.
Renae L.
Very comfortable, temperature regulating , and no show panty lines.
ABBIE O.
I followed the sizing guidelines and ordered the size accordingly. The fit was too big. These are more french bikini with high cut and not a full wrap around bikini.
Amy N.
Great fit, such quality fabric ! My new fave !
Janice M.
Very comfortable, great fit!
Thu J.
Feels soft but a little thick and warm. Have yet to try it out on a long hike. Washed it and it did well. No major shrinkage.
Megan H.
Slightly itchy around the waist - but not enough to be super distracting. Claim to stay dry totally holds up though! Love that! Wish they weren’t quite as expensive. Will have to save up to buy more.
Chris S.
I have purchased another brands wool underwear and these are superior. The leg opening is not to tight but stays in place and is pretty much a no show line underwear. I ordered the rosewater and black and will be back for more. The sizing is accurate.
Sharon B.
Have been walking 4 miles in these daily in high 80s temp with high humidity and they are simply amazing.
Michelle B.
Great fit and comfort. Run a full size larger! I had to size down from Woolx XL to Woolx L, which equates to a Hanes XL size 8. I was only buying these for a planned trip to save on suitcase. However, I would consider these for my regular panties.
Hannah B.
I love the material. It feels dry all day. It also feels sturdy, likenl it will last a long time. The sizing was spot on. I specifically wanted to make sure that the fabric wasn't digging in anywhere and causing unwanted lines. However this is where I was dissapointed. It is advertized as being invisible under cothing, however despite it fitting correctly, the leg seams are still very visible under yoga or bike shorts. This is possibly due to the lovely thick fabric, but also because the elastic around the leg holes can roll up or under. I still love the underwear, but unfortunately I can't wear them under the things I most wanted the sweat-wicking capabilities for.
Oksana C.
Truly excellent underwear! I’m going through menopause, and this underwear doesn’t cause me any discomfort. I’m very pleased!
Ramona K.
I love the comfortable fit, and after washing they were perfect! They are cool, moisture wicking. I was amazed out they don’t retain odor. It’s unusual to wear a pair about 3 days and wash by hand and they quickly dry. Perfect for traveling, especially in summer heat. I also like how smooth they are. They don’t create muffin tops like the boy cut wide waste band does for me and shows through clothes. This style is the best!
Lori R.
First, the underwear does have a very nice waist band. However, the coverage over the bottom is lacking as the underwear rides up. The cut is just not for me.
Jessica J.
Comfortable and dry so quickly!
Susan
These are perfect for me going forward it will be the style I buy. Very smooth under clothes. Keeps you cool.
Patricia J.
Looking forward to having my wools on my backpacking trip!
Gayle B.
Got these for an upcoming trip to Europe to reduce the amount of knickers I pack and most importantly, the comfort that they provide in the wearing. Trying them out today and already they are amazing. If they wear as well as all my other Woolx items more will be required for everyday wear. Thank you Woolx team.
Lara B.
Good and comfortable. I appreciate the wicking nature of the wool. These are a little rougher than the shirts/bras run though. I would still buy more for workouts/the hot and humid summer.
Sharon B.
I buy 2 new pairs every year. These latest pairs wear differently. The elastic in the legs seems different. Creeping up my cheeks, I'm pulling the leg openings down. There's a visual difference. Sad face.
Susan F.
not what I expected - I like better fitting underpants - and they just felt like they would stretch out and be super loose after a few wearings
Cynthia L.
The fit is perfect & I love the fabric.
Carolyn L.
By far the Maeve bikini is my favorite underwear of all time! Love the thicker fabric (compared to Woolly, Smartwool, IBEX, etc...), love that they fit and provide coverage for those of us that have a larger bottom (can't say the same for Smartwool or IBEX). And because they are thicker they do not snag or tear easily the way Woolly bikini does. Please never change the style of the Maeve bikini. I'm excited that you added more colors, will probably order a few more pairs soon.
Rachael F.
These were just so-so for me. First, the seams around the leg opening are thin widthwise but stick out more and feel rough and itchy.
Second, as others have mentioned, the cotton gusset comes up really far in the front and has a lot of extra fabric which rolls under itself, leaving a prominent line of fabric in a very awkward place (pictured).
Would not buy these again! I much prefer the Roxie style.
Michelle C.
Love my panties cool and comfortable! Repeat purchase! Thanks for a great product as always Woolx!
Katharina P.
I ordered a small in Maeve. I am a small in Stella, Piper, McKenna, Nicole (ankle), Palmer, Marley, Ellis, and Lola. Unfortunately, Maeve must run a tad bit smaller than all the other Woolx bottoms of the same size. I wore them, so I will keep them. If you're unsure and want a comfortable fit, consider sizing up. I love everything else about Maeve. I'll reserve this pair for a day when I "feel a bit skinny".
Madhu B.
Thank you! Comfortable!
Sarah Jane W.
The cut of this underwear is too wide in the front and too narrow in the back. There is a lining that gets bunched in the front. Wool underwear shouldn’t need a liner. Other wool brands have a more flattering cut without a liner.
Alexis M.
Comfy, stays in place, good cut and fabric. I usually order size L in underwear because I hate my undies digging in and leaving panty lines or weird curves, but I definitely could have sized down to a medium in these (waist 31-32, hips 41-42, athletic build). The L is a bit too much extra fabric.
Amy E.
I have a couple of pairs of your bikini underwear that I purchased two years ago, and I absolutely LOVE them. I'm going on a trip in a few weeks so I splurged (they're expensive!) and bought a couple more pairs. To my great dismay, the fabric is not at all like what I got before...the others feel soft and natural, but these feel very artificial and not at all comfortable or like I would expect from high quality fabric. I can't return them, because I thought they might soften up after washing, but they didn't. Why did you change your fabric? This was a lot of disappointment and wasted investment.
Susan A.
Very comfortable, especially in hot weather. Wicks nicely. Fabric is stretchy so order your usual size. Just wish merino wasn’t so expensive. This was a treat to myself and I love it. Would definitely buy more if I could.
Judith C.
Too skimpy, crotch a little narrow
Lange C.
Great fit and product.
SHAUNA L.
Very comfortable. Well made and high quality
Catherine J K.
Rather disappointed with the Maeve underwear. I plan to use for hiking and the thickness and cotton gusset make them sweaty and uncomfortable. I am hoping the Roxie will serve me better so I exchanged the unworn pairs. But am stuck with this one pair. Expensive mistake.
In addition, during my exchange the standard 10% discount for 2 Roxie was not offered/applied. I’m rather disappointed with that also as I usually shop sales.
Dawn D.
Great fabric and rise. Comfortable the one time I've worn them.
Angela P.
Love these! They are so comfortable
Heidi R.
These Maeve underpants are the best! I put them to the test in sweaty hot Florida weather. After 3 hours of heavy yardwork in the heat and humidity, the undies were neither soggy nor stinky. Cotton undies get damp and chafe, but not this merino wool from Woolx. The leg holes do not bind nor do they ride up. The flat waistband stays smooth and does not pinch. I like the low-rise design and the double layer crotch. They washed well too in a mesh lingerie bag in the washer. Afterward I hung them to dry. Easy care. I liked them so well, I now have 4 pair. Try them yourself!
Mackenzie B.
These are heavy material and not flattering. Not worth the cost.
Kelly H.
They are thicker than I expected and I have not hiked in them but they were great for a workout. Very comfortable and stretchy but always fitted.
Judith O.
Have been trying to find a new line of panties. These are super comfy and I find they breathe and stay cool even in hot temperatures. Just finished a long hike and they were great even when I am super hot and sweaty
Sara S.
Super comfortable all day long. I will absolutely be ordering more.
Gina R.
Absolutely love these. They fit perfectly, and I love not wearing plastic!!
Hope you will be ditching ALL THE LARGE AMOUNTS OF PLASTIC PACKAGING?!
Thank you!
Gina
Jennifer F.
Seems fine - a bit thick but here's hoping that means they'll last through years of wear and washes.
Delores C.
Feels great and you don’t even know you have them on.
kathleen p.
Love that this is merino wool. Just wish the bands/seams at thighs were less noticeable. Great for travel.
Shannon
Great fit. Not as soft as I would like, but may get better with time.
Elizabeth B.
Love the fit, super comfortable material.
Britany B.
These fit so well and stay put nicely!
Heidi R.
The Maeve underwear is soft and smooth. I like the flat band and the smooth leg holes, no elastic to bite into my skin. The cut of this product covers my glute cheeks and does not ride up. I will warn you to wash the black undies separately from light colors for first washing. The color ran onto my beige pair. I hope it washes out over time. I liked the Maeve undies so well that I ordered a third and fourth pair.
KATHLEEN H.
Definitely fine for sweat wicking and quick drying and never smelling underwear. The feel and fit could be better and the price is on the more luxury side. The mismatch between cost and feel gives me pause
Christy C.
These are without a doubt the most comfortable underwear I’ve ever purchased!
Bonnie C.
This is my first pair of underwear. They seem alittle thick and rougher type fabric but will see how they wear. I’m not allergic or sensitive to wool. Thank you
Nisha K.
Fabric is rather thick and rough, returned
Camilla L.
So comfortable! I was tentative to try wool underwear, but so glad I took the plunge! This will be something I buy more of when they are on sale or I have a good discount code to use!
Emily G.
It fits well and feels good.
Vivian S.
Very comfortable, stays put and doesn’t roll or show. The very flat leg openings are super comfortable for cycling.
Susan W.
I’m shocked these fit so well and are so breathable! I already ordered more for my trip!
Heather D.
Super comfy but it doesn’t create as smooth a silhouette as my thinner seamless underwear so there are some skirts and pants I probably won’t wear these with. Looking forward to taking these on a camping trip where I can handwash /rinse and wear again the next day!
Tracy D.
So comfortable and don’t ride up, stay where they should!!
Holly L.
Love these underwear! They fit so well and are so comfortable.
Danielle B.
Will be buying more!
Jan S.
I ordered two pair - a black and a tan. The black 1x was too large, so I returned the other unopened and ordered the next size down.
The exchange worked beautifully!
I just wish I had ordered TWO sizes down (the Large) instead of the next size down, the XL.
Now I have two pair of too-large wool underwear.
Otherwise, I love the concept of the wool underwear.
Nicole O.
I would have given 4 stars if I didn't have to cut out the cotton panty liner on a pair of $30 underwear. I was so disappointed that I had to do that. It really defeats the purpose of purchasing wool items if you have cotton over the wool.
Sizing is tad off too; I ordered based upon the size chart and they were a bit large.
denise p.
Excellent material for wicking moisture in fla. Heat!
Patricia G.
Absolutely my favorite undies! Very comfortable and great for all kinds of temperatures
Marcia C.
I like the Maeve underwear. The only thing I don't like is the leg openings don't connect to my curves well and the back rides up.
Natalie A.
I have several pair of the Roxie underwear but recently tried the Maeve underwear. All the great benefits of wool and no elastic band on top.
Elizabeth G.
Love the fit. It stays put with minimal lines under my leggings. Super comfortable! I traveled all day on a plane in it and hiked 12 miles another day just rinsing it out in-between. It would've been 5 stars except for the cotton lining in the crotch. That kind of defeats the purpose of the wool. Please make that lining a double layer of wool and it will be 5 stars!!
Kate M.
This may be TMI - non-synthetic underwear was suggested by a medical professional - I found WoolX and I have been amazed by the comfort. I recommend to all my friends.
Elyse C.
Very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. The fit is true to the decription and I can't wait to order more.
Jodi C.
I really like the material and the fit. I personally don't care for tight fitting undergarments because they will show bulges of my extra "weight"! I am 5'2 and 135 lbs and ordered a small. I also order size small in the leggings for reference. However, the one piece I am not in favor of is the lining seems to roll at the top and can show a slight bump/bulge in that area of the pelvic bone area. Not a blocker but something that I noticed.
Marla J.
These stay put, flat seams & very comfortable! Got them for their breathability to stay dry while playing pickleball. I bought 7 of these during the big sale and happy I did! Tossing a competitor brand that’s not holding up.
Jodi C.
Love these undies! I'm 62 and like the high cut version but hate when the fit digs in a bit at the waist and leg opening. These fit beautifully and I ordered a small and am 135#.
Jackie L.
I first ordered the Mabel as I was always frustrated by underwear that rolled under my menopause belly and accentuated all the negatives. They are amazing and I ordered more. I decided to take a chance on the Maeve so they would be below the waist band of lower rise pants. I just skied all day and they never went below my belly or rolled up on my backside. I’ll be ordering more asap!
Gina Z.
It's nothing inherently wrong with WoolX but wool underwear is inherently itchy. I have never had underwear chafe my bum before, but I don't think they're for me.
