The Maeve underwear is soft and smooth. I like the flat band and the smooth leg holes, no elastic to bite into my skin. The cut of this product covers my glute cheeks and does not ride up. I will warn you to wash the black undies separately from light colors for first washing. The color ran onto my beige pair. I hope it washes out over time. I liked the Maeve undies so well that I ordered a third and fourth pair.

I ordered two pair - a black and a tan. The black 1x was too large, so I returned the other unopened and ordered the next size down.
The exchange worked beautifully!
I just wish I had ordered TWO sizes down (the Large) instead of the next size down, the XL.
Now I have two pair of too-large wool underwear.
Otherwise, I love the concept of the wool underwear.

I would have given 4 stars if I didn't have to cut out the cotton panty liner on a pair of $30 underwear. I was so disappointed that I had to do that. It really defeats the purpose of purchasing wool items if you have cotton over the wool.
Sizing is tad off too; I ordered based upon the size chart and they were a bit large.

Love the fit. It stays put with minimal lines under my leggings. Super comfortable! I traveled all day on a plane in it and hiked 12 miles another day just rinsing it out in-between. It would've been 5 stars except for the cotton lining in the crotch. That kind of defeats the purpose of the wool. Please make that lining a double layer of wool and it will be 5 stars!!

I really like the material and the fit. I personally don't care for tight fitting undergarments because they will show bulges of my extra "weight"! I am 5'2 and 135 lbs and ordered a small. I also order size small in the leggings for reference. However, the one piece I am not in favor of is the lining seems to roll at the top and can show a slight bump/bulge in that area of the pelvic bone area. Not a blocker but something that I noticed.

I first ordered the Mabel as I was always frustrated by underwear that rolled under my menopause belly and accentuated all the negatives. They are amazing and I ordered more. I decided to take a chance on the Maeve so they would be below the waist band of lower rise pants. I just skied all day and they never went below my belly or rolled up on my backside. I’ll be ordering more asap!

I love this style undies, the rise is a little bit higher than the picture made me think it would be and I am so pleased. Rise just below belly button , they do NOT roll down, comfortable and stylish.. My use is for every day wear. I washed them on a gentle cycle quick wash then a fluff and hang dry. They did dry quickly. I recommend and will reorder in the future . I ordered a small and normally wear an 8 to 10 in pants for reference.

I DID wonder how wool underwear would do under my wool pants and leggings; I'd thought the outer layer might not move well over the underwear, but that's not the case at all. I'm so confused by the Maeve underwear. I almost feel like I was sent the wrong item! It has a very high rise (above my belly button). The fabric is listed as having the same wool/nylon/spandex content as the Roxie underwear, but feels completely different-- more synthetic, less soft. And they seem to run much larger than the Roxie.

I bought one pair of Maeve at a recent mega sale. I just ordered two more pair! I am wearing them with Pipers right now and do not have panty lines! No wedgies. Just pure comfort! I have a few pair from another company that I only wear at night due to the panty line. The seam is too thick to be line-free, and it hits at the wrong spot). Woolx is perfect, very little thickness to the seam and it hits high enough so that it doesn't show at all! Leave it to Woolx to get it right!

Hands down, my favorite underwear. They fit perfectly. I first tried Roxie and found I didn’t like the low rise on the waist. Maeve has a higher rise, and covers my rear, without visible lines. I’ve already purchased several more pairs, as I now despise my prior poly blend underwear!! They washed up fantastic, both hand washing/air drying, and cool washer, low dryer settings!
