Used it on a drizzly excursion in Iceland. Dried out in no time. Very soft wool. Very thin and appropriate for exercising in cool climates. Hiked a gorgeous waterfall in the rain with it on.

LOVE this hat!! It’s so soft and comfortable to wear!! I’ve worn it hiking in temps under 20 degrees and I stayed perfectly warm! I don’t want too much bulk on my head because I get too hot when I’m exercising so this hat is fabulous! Sometimes I just wear it in the house when I’m chilly! Perfection!

Journey hats are so soft and warm and comfortable on my head! I bought this one for my dad. He recently finished radiation treatment on his ear for skin cancer and the healing and healed skin and site are very sensitive for him. With the bitter Michigan weather this winter so far, I wanted something that would be comfortable for him and protect his newly healed skin and area of baldness around his ear. He told me that the hat is soft and doesn’t hurt the area and it has been very warm for him. Thanks Woolx!

My second one of these hats. After ordering in the grey color realized how wonderful it was. Light enough to slip into a pocket or purse, yet warm enough to do the job. I particularly like the longer turn up brim that is long enough to cover hair and ears which is sometimes an iffy propposition with a "beanie" style.

Tested the hat by walking around NYC in 25 degree weather with a bit of wind and it kept my head nice and toasty. I have a shaved head so there is no hair insulation. Walked around for a couple of hours and never felt that hat head sweaty feeling you also get sometimes. Also love how soft it is.
