This is the perfect weight for cool air conditioned cars and restaurants and early morning chill while traveling through Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kentucky in four weeks. i have three. The Poppy which is more pink than red, the Blue which i wore the most, and the black which goes with everything. i bought the blue and poppy to streamline my travel wardrobe as accent colors as i wore black dresses as a base. ( i earlier purchased the heavier Zoey winter hoodie in toasted garnet and loved it so i order the plum Zoey.). After watching the live stream woolx party i wanted the Ryann and am happy i ordered them even though I missed the extra discount by two hours. The XL was sold out in all but the Poppy so i purchased the 1X as well. Because Ryann’s are a loose fit, sizing down looked nicer on me Nevertheless, the plus of having a larger size is the ability to stuff the inner and outer pockets with travel items an airplane and the ability to wear layers under the hoodie during the Fall or early Spring for more warmth. Overall i’m very happy with the Ryann. it’s a great weight even in the 80F degree humid summer because once walking into a store, hotel, or restaurant, i find that i am very glad to have the cozy Ryann to keep the cold draft off of my sleeveless arms. in one case i wore the Ryann over my Woolx crew neck sweater on top of my nightgown because the AC unit in our hotel room was faulty and we felt like we were in a walk in refrigerator. The hood kept my head warm too.
i’m tempted to buy more colors during this current sale but think i need to control myself.

This is my 5 th Ryann . I did get a small this time and like the slimmer fit on me. I do wear the mediums, but if I get another Ryann I’ll order a Small from now on. The best part of the Ryann are the zippered pockets and the interior pockets ( which aren’t zippered) .

The Medium Ryann Hoodie in Estate Blue fits well and looks good - unfortunately it's been a little chilly where I live so I've been wearing my Zooey more often (and sometimes my husband's Grizzly). I'm sure that spring / summer is just around the corner and I will get lots of use from Ryann.

I really wanted not to love this jacket. It's too expensive for me. But unfortunately, it's the perfect weight, it's terribly comfortable, and it is not at all itchy. It makes travel so easy. I'm afraid I now need it in black too.

This is my 3rd Ryann in this size (previously owned 2 others in a different size), so I knew I'd be getting a great hoodie. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5, is the Estate Blue was a little more dull in person than I was expecting based on the online photos and what I had seen in people's social media posts. I decided to keep it anyway since it is a nice hoodie, but just wasn't as wowed by the color in person as I was hoping, but it goes well with other things I own.

This hoodie is fantastic!!! For reference, I measure 43 (40C) - 34-43, 5'5", 167 lbs and generally wear size 12-14. I first bought a medium in Starry Night because there were no larges left and I had another item in that color. It fit, but it was form fitting in the bust and midsection. It did fit in the hips. I exchanged it (easily) for a large Estate Blue, also a gorgeous color. It fits in the bust and waist, but baggy in the hips. This would be great for a pear shaped person. I kept it and just wore it out walking, layered over a long sleeved exercise shirt and a cashmere turtleneck. It was 40 F and windy. Zipped up, I was totally warm! After a half mile, I unzipped the jacket as I was getting warm. This hoodie will be great for traveling, layering in transitional spring temps. And the pockets are like Captain Kangaroo's lol. two outside zipped and two big inner patch pockets. They will fit your phone, wallet, passport, Kleenex, EarPods, kindle. It is definitely going with me next week on the plane. Even though I have two dressier long, black merino cardigans for winter, I would have ordered the Ryann in black for travel next week, but it is out of stock in large.
