The cut of the dress was too wide in the hips even after I exchanged for a smaller size. I am still waiting to hear back from customer service for a return authorization, since I originally purchased the dress before it was final sale. So far I haven’t received any update.

It looks AWFUL on me, a 66 year old XL. Every bump and line shows because the fabric isn’t forgiving, it’s thin. I hesitated for days before I finally was swayed by the reviews, but since I couldn’t try it on and it’s not returnable sadly, I’m stuck with it.

Very nice dress. My sister-in-law recommended buying for a long flight and for Europe’s summer heat. It layered well and was very comfortable. I Layered a light linen shirt on top to visit churches in Europe where shoulders need to be covered. Grateful for her recommendation.

I ordered the Clara Dress because I travel extensively and was looking for wool. It fit nice, so I went ahead and ordered the Cassie. I ordered the same size, but this dress fit a size smaller, despite being the regular fit. It also has an odd shape, NOT at all like the photos on line. Material is thin and the pockets stick out. I think it was washed, shrunk and returned by another customer. Unfortunately for me, was a final sale, so now I'm stuck with this ill fitting thing that I can't wear. Because of this disappointing sales tactic, I'm returning the Clara as well and will no longer do business with this company. BEWARE IF YOU BUY SOMETHING FINAL SALE. IT WASN'T WORTH IT!

This is my second woolx jumper. I really liked the first one and did the 100 day challenge in it. But it always felt a tad too short just above my knee. I got a long sleeved collared shirt with my reward, love it, and wear it often. When I saw a jumper similar to the one I had before but in a longer length, I didn't have to think twice.
The fabric is soft but not clingy. The arm holes are comfortable and generous enough to allow a tee underneath. I find the neckline to be flattering. I appreciate that the straps are modestly wide. I won't be wearing it every day, but every other day is quite likely!

I purchased the dress to wear on a cruise to Alaska in September. It will be the perfect dinner dress paired with one of the two cardigans I purchased (black and purple), or I can wear it like a jumper with a long-sleeved cream t shirt. The fit is very flattering. It is so soft and comfortable. I’ll wear this for years!

The cut of this dress seems uninformed by classic principles of garment construction and finishing. The fabric is a good weight for a sleeveless dress and not too thin. But as others have noted, the construction of the pockets causes the hip seams to flare stiffly to the sides. Also the dress fits the models fine, but the shortest model is 5'7". On 5'4" me the armholes gape and the shoulders stick out like epaulets because there is too much fabric between where the bust hits and where my shoulders are. This dress is not for mid-height or petite women.
I think the side slits are too long and cause the hemline to flare, spoiling the A-line shape. Overall it's frumpy, if comfortable. I won't pay to have it altered- I'll just wear it with a shrug or cardigan or practice my alteration skills on it. I rolled the dice on a mystery item so it serves me right. Nothing a little accessorizing can't fix, though.
