While in transit I noticed I ordered black by mistake. The Woolx team was great and let me order the navy at the same price. I had planned on returning the black. How many pairs of black pants does one need? Apparently many. lol. I decided to keep both pairs. Petite is longer than ankle length on me but I like the length. It's perfect.

Oh, my gosh, I LOVE the Petite Nicole Ankle Pants!! They fit perfectly (I am 5’2”) and are lightweight. They can be dressed up or down. I often have to dress in all black, so they will get a lot of wear!

I really wanted to love these pants. The fabric has a fantastic smooth lightweight feel. The pants length for petites is spot on perfect. The problem for me is in the crochet length. They were way too big. They fit like regular sized pieces not like petites. Way too much fabric which causes bunching. If I folded the waist band over it made the crotch length perfect but then you can’t use the pockets. When I pay more than $100 dollars for an article of clothing I want it to fit without having to pay to have it tailored. I’m very sad that they don’t work.

These lightweight pants travel well and can serve for both a day of outdoor activities as well as dining out.
The length of the XS petite works well for my 5'0, 98 lbs frame, falling to the top of my shoes.
What I don't love is that, for my size and rather straight body type, they are too loose in the rear. The front pockets pooch out on me as well. I also don't care for the nylon-y feel of the material. I bought two pairs and like them only enough to keep one.

The fabric isn't very soft. It's more like stiff lining fabric from a coat. It doesn't contain as much merino as I had assumed. Should have read the description of the material more carefully.

The reason for the four stars is a ‘me’ problem and I’m really on the fence right now. I’m between two sizes, the XL Petite and the 1X Regular, so I ordered both. The material on both is soft and luxurious and the pants are well-made, hence the 4-star rating, but I just can’t get the right fit. The length on the XLP is absolutely perfect but the fit through my hips is more like leggings, and through the crotch - whoops, TMI - just a bit too tight! The 1X Regular length give me the fit I like through the hip and upper leg areas, but they are just a bit too baggy in the crotch and too long for my legs. This Goldilocks needs a 1X Petite to fit “just right”!
Again, this is a ‘me’ problem and I’ll think about this a little more (and try both pairs on with different shoes/boots, etc.) to find the best solution. Will update my review once I’ve made my decision and had a chance to wear my choice. Thank you again Stacey, for your customer service help!

The pants just arrived, and I was shocked at the feel of the fabric. It feels like smooth, stiff lining material. I checked the label, and I found that these Merino pants are only 42% Merino. I should have read the fabric description, but the text said these were Merino and I assumed they'd be mostly Merino.
I got them for travel. Supposedly Merino can be worn for many days without smelling, but if it's only 42% I wonder if that will be the case.
They are admittedly very lightweight, so that's a plus. Still trying to decide if I'll keep them.

Very happy with these pants! Purchased for a trip to Austria, wore several days in a row in temperatures from 50 to 70 degrees. They do stretch a bit in the leg, but not the waist or butt. This worked out for me, they were tight around my knees and then loosened up to fall nicely.

Love these pants! I bought the petite size b/c I’m 5’4 1/2” tall. They hit me right above the ankle. I purchased two sizes - extra small petite (black) and small petite (khaki). They both fit me, just differently. The small is a bit looser, but not too loose. I don’t think I’d like the lighter colors in the XS size as they fit more snuggly, but the black in XS works great! I love the feel of these pants, and they have a slimming effect! They are so easy to style with any kind of top. I tend to style them as a sporty look with tennis shoes. Thinking about buying a third pair. I’m hooked! :)

Because these are (petite) ankle pants they fit me, at 5’2, perfectly with no alteration needed! So I packed them with me on a two week trip to Italy, I am one week in and I’ve worn them every day and they still look perfect. I’m hoping to get through the next week too if I don’t spill anything! this is really my first purchase of wool-based travel pants. At first I was worried about how thin it was but I took a pair of wool leggings in case it got cold. BUT the pants were very comfortable during my 2 week trip to China and while I swapped them with jeans It was my preferred go-tos because it hangs well, is comfortable for long walks and it fit so well. I am short and the Petite was just perfect for me. It also stayed fresh and does not wrinkle.

I did not like how the pants felt like polyester and nylon and very synthetic. I wish the merino wool content was higher, more like 75% or more. 100% would be ideal for me because I aim for all natural fiber clothing as much as possible.

I wasn't sure about sizing, so I ordered the Nicole in both the regular 1X and the petite XL. The petite version fit perfectly, as full length pants on me (5'2"), which I prefer anyway. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight but substantial enough, and handle repeated wears beautifully. I quickly exchanged the regulars for a khaki petite and look forward to wearing both on repeat. I love the non-jogger style of these - for me, they're easier to dress up or down, and since I don't wear tops tucked in, the elastic back isn't an issue. I'll likely get more colors in the future.

I am a very petite woman and the fit on these is perfect. The good thing about the fit on these is the rise is not too high. Many petite pants just have shorter legs and fail to shorten the waist to crotch part. Please make more colors in this one! A nice grey or charcoal would be really great!

Just back from a trip from NYS to Seattle. Wore one pair of these pants almost every day of our six day trip. They are extremely comfortable and do not get baggy and out of shape. I was suspicious of these pants when I first unwrapped them, but wow did they surprise me ! They travel like they were born for it! I wore them on a transatlantic journey and they wore, looked and felt terrific rushing through airports, sitting interminably on planes, trains, and buses. They stood up behind a podium, strode through facility tours, went to a cocktail party and more. That's incredible and they pack down to nothing when you're ready to wear something else. A little shake out and they're ready to do the whole journey again in reverse looking and feeling as good as the start of the trip - no overheating, no wrinkles, no bunching, pinching or any discomfort at all and finished the trip looking none the worse for the wear.

I really like these pants - but I do not understand the internal drawstring. I’m sure it’s user error but how do I actually use it to make the pants tighter?

1. Over cut and fit is great for a curvy girl- thank you!
2. Comfy and chic at the same time - nice. I walked flew to and then walked from the French quarter to center City in comfort and relative cool(it was 90+ outside)
3. For real Reavel Worthy. I sprayed the heck out of them with downy wrinkle release and hung up to dry - and they were good to go to wear on my travel day home, walking all around the Garden District, sweating through lunch :), and then feeling put together on the plane until my 11pm landing.
Notes:
1. Maybe a 1/2inch too long for the “ankle” look I was hoping for (I’m 5’3 3/4”).
2. Drawstring is unhelpful- at least from what I can tell
3. Disappointed only 45% wool for the price (think UnboundMerino travel pants are upward of 80% wool)
4. The zipper pocket made the metal detector/X-ray detector and wand go off at the airport for outgoing flight but not the return. Odd but a but if it happens every time, it will be annoying for travel pants.

I was excited to try these pants, as I have been looking for wool based travel pants for a very long time. They were very comfortable in the waist, which is usually my #1 concern with any type of pants. These fit well, and were extremely comfortable. They were, however, a little long for what I was looking for, and I would have had to hem them. The material is lightweight, but did not feel like there was any wool at all to me. For the price, I was expecting these to fit and look a little different. In the end, I could not justify the cost of these, even with the Labor day sale, and ended up returning them. I will continue my search for the perfect travel pant. Thank you for offering the Happy Returns process.
