I was looking for an everyday winter mitten and these fit the bill nicely. They've got the fingers inside the mitten which is a nice feature. They do run roomy so normally I have a large hand (women's size) and chose the S/M and they're plenty roomy.

The wool these finger/mittens is made of is soft and relatively thin while keeping my hands warm. The fingers cover fits really well, adding a layer of more warmth. Terrific for those early morning below drives to work.

I was disappointed in the velcro tabs - they are awkward to attach and release. I received another pair of gloves in the past as a gift that used magnetic catches instead of velcro - much more user friendly. My other pair had a flap on the thumb too that was very handy. My recommendations are to use magnetic releases instead of velcro and to develop a thumb flap. They weren't as warm as I thought they would be

I was hoping the glove portion over the fingertips would be warmer. I wore them on a 20 degree day and my fingers became cold as if was wearing thin gloves. I will keep them to use in my car.

Perfect weight for a day of cross country skiing! My hands run very hot once I get moving, but gloves never seem to be warm enough, so I was looking for a good convertible mitten. Had an issue with a seam which was resolved with lightening speed! Love these mittens! They are exactly what I was looking for.

These are very warm for fairly lightweight mittens. Sometimes you need a medium level of warmth without bulk. These absolutely fit that bill. After reading other reviews, I ordered them a little smaller than I normally would and the fit was perfect

Additionally, as others have noted, the Velcro is excessively strong for this material.

I the fingerless mittens are a nice material and very warm. They do run quite large. I ordered the small/medium and the mittens, thumb especially have so much extra space. I tried to exchange for XS but apparently the sm/med is the smallest they come. They are a very nice design though so I’m keeping them.

I liked the idea of a Flip Mitten. However not crazy with the velcro used - had to pull rather Hard to disconnect the two pieces. Also, these mittens did not keep my hands/fingers very warm.

I was pleasantly surprised by these gloves. When they arrived my heart sank because they looked to thin to be warm. I wore them in the rain and 40 degrees to go birding. They kept my hands comfortable. Next in very cold weather and wind they performed well again. I love them!

As mittens or gloves, these fit the bill very well. While they look a little dorky with the mitten flap folded back, they are warm without the bulk. Easily packable and Travel-friendly

I ordered the S/M in both gloves and they are too big. If you had XS it would be great. I had to return both gloves and was charged a restock fee. Not very fair when I can't order a smaller size.

Supposedly these gloves were S/M size but my hands swim around in a ton of extra space, and I have long palms and fingers. Not a good fit at all.

The gloves are too big. I already wrote that having S/M as one size is like saying one size fits all for women. I note that there are 2 more sizes mostly for. men- large/extra large. As a doctor I can say that there is a big difference between petite small hands and 'medium' ones There should be 2 separate sizes and I'm still deciding whether to return these since I dont expect that to happen soon. Otherwise I would love them.

As others have noted these are slightly
large for women’s hands. And I’m not impressed with the high non-wool content. I think more wool would provide a less crunchy fit. Also the Velcro spot sticks TOO tightly. I’ve got another maker’s similar mitten-glove that uses a loop and button instead and that works fine.

I was excited about these gloves but they are HUGE! I have long fingers so was hoping the S/M would work, but these gloves just don't seem to be made for women. The tips of the cut off glove fingers hit near the tips of my fingers instead of the knuckle, and the palm area is way too big/baggy. Thankfully they seem to fit my husband perfectly and he likes them, so he got an early Christmas present while I keep looking.

A good idea. I think the mitten part needs a little more Velcro so that when you fold it back, the whole thing stays folded back other than that they work well. If you’re actually laboring, they’re too smooth for my taste. Hard to get traction like leather would give you.

I wanted to love these. They run really big, and I’m afraid the Velcro will snag or damage my other wool pieces.
I’m addicted to woolx and love almost everything. This is the 3rd pair of gloves I’ve bought from them, and I’ve been disappointed with all 3. They don’t seem to have the sizing right.

These mittens are okay but way too big. I don't find them to be warm. But a lot of that has to do with them being so big that almost every time I look at my hands my bare fingertips are hanging out - the flap doesn't stay down...maybe if there was some way to secure it? The velcro dot to hold back the mitten flap holds very tight so maybe something similar on the palm would help.

These are nice. I have 8.5 inch length hands with 7.5 inch circumference and the s/m fit fine, although wider than necessary. The length is perfect. I wish the velcro attachment to hold the mitts back was a magnet but that is my only issue and not a deal breaker. I imagine that for people with smaller hands these would feel too big.

Where have these been all my life. I need to photograph and document historic buildings, often abandoned, in cold climates. I've tried other fingerless gloves with the mitten flips, but the fabric does nothing to keep my hands from freezing. These are going to be perfect this winter. Nothing beats merino!

I think they’re sized for men as they are bulky in the palm and long in the fingers.
Not all clothing is unisex and this is one example of a a good idea that was not well executed.
