I really like the color and the pockets, the fit is about right, and the length is good for me (5ft 3in) in a petite, small. The waist is a little loose, though, ,and periodically curls, so I keep needing to adjust it/pull it up.
I ordered another pair that was a regular XS that doesn't do this. I have to fold up the bottom, because they're too long, but they don't curl, and seem to go up a little above my wait (which is actually great).
I don't know if the waist issue on the small was a one off, or if there is some other reason.
I still recommend them, but would love to hear if there is something to remedy the curling.

Wow. Warm, supportive leggings keep me cozy in my freezing LA apartment. Makes a huge difference sitting at my computer. I bought three colors (burgundy, brown, gray), because I am wearing them all the time at home. And I can easily go out for errands. At 5’0”, the petite option is a miracle. And the pockets are awesome, too. I’ll probably buy more colors.

I expected my leggings to be warmer. These are more of an underlayer. I was expecting to wear them alone outside like most of your pictures show. I live in South Carolina where it's not very cold in the winter. Nice, but not worth the price of $150.

I love these pants for everyday wear, for travel, and as a super warm liner under my snow pants. The pockets are a great feature, particularly for stashing my phone. I am 5'1" so the petite size is great--less material bunching around the ankles than the regular size. I loved my first pair enough to get a second pair, and I expect to get many years of wear out of both!

Love the Piper Pocket tights. I got the petite small since I’m short and they actually fit! They are warm but not hot. Perfect for wearing under dress slacks or other pants. Can be worn alone as well.

These are the best combination of toasty warm and holding their shape… Even after wearing repeatedly, they don’t bunch up at the knees. I also love the color, it goes really well layering under a dress, as well as worn by themselves with a long sweater. The petite length works well for this petite person.

I have some with and without pockets, but if you're only purchasing a pair or two, choose pockets. I know they are pricey but worth it. For the price, I was hoping to LOVE these leggings. However, I just wore them for the first time (3-4 weeks after receiving them) and I don't love them. They do not stay up on my waist -- they slide down in the back -- and I have found myself having to hoist them up all day long. Sad that they don't really live up to the hype.

Wools really went above board when I asked them how to fix a hole in my navy tights. After several prompts messages, they chose to send me a new pair. These are just what I was looking for. The petite medium in gray is just right - I am 5'3" and weigh 138 pounds. They are a soft wool, but nonetheless, they do feel like wool, so these aren't a good choice for anyone sensitive to the feel. I like the higher level of hold/snugness, the length and rise are just right, and I really like waistband/panel. I'm in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota and live in winter tights throughout the season, whether hanging out at home, walking my dog or going out on errands, etc. They may be a bit too warm for those who like to keep their house on the warm side, but I keep mine at 68 and they're just right for me. When it gets down to the single digits, I put a pair of yoga pants over them for walking my dog, or wind pants if necessary. The price is the only downside for me. Although I wear them every day, the price was hard to justify.

I reviewed these previously with 4 stars, but I’ve edited down. I would like to add that the Piper Pocket Petite I bought last month seems to have different construction than the one I bought two years ago. I thought it was a matter of rise length, but it may be more than that. I’ve been very frustrated when I run in my leggings, as they keep shimmying down and sagging. So much so that I’ve cut my runs short. They do this to a lesser degree while walking, but there’s still some hitching up required. I don’t have that problem with the pair I bought two years ago.

I ordered a second pair of Piper Petite leggings with pockets in the grey color because I've been very happy with the first pair (black), bought 6+ months earlier. They are very comfortable, yet trim-fitting without any bagginess. They are also warm without causing any sweatiness. The pockets are useful and keep their shape well. I machine wash them in cold water. Excellent product!

Cozy, warm leggings. Just ordered another pair because I wasn't patient enough for these to go through the wash. They are my only bottom layer on a 28 degree day in PA and I'm comfortable. So snuggly you can sleep in them but nice enough to go from a hike to dinner.

Petite medium was overall too small (I am 5 foot/140 lbs.) Petite large fit better throughout except they keep slipping in the waste and I have to constantly pull them up.
Material is soft and comfortable. Not completely happy with the fit for the cost. If it had a draw string at the waste, it would help. Disappointed to learn they are made in China.
Overall, good quality but not willing to pay the price.

These are great feeling and looking tights. They aren't as warm as I expected them to be, but they are definitely for fall and winter. I am 5'3", 117 lbs. According to the size chart, I should be a petite, so I ordered a petite medium per my height and weight size. They were too short and too big. I exchanged for the regular small which are just perfect. So keep in mind, if you don't regularly buy petites, best to go with the regular sizes.

The leggings are a great material, soft and comfortable. The pockets are a must have feature for me. The medium petite were too small in the waste and overall. Petite large a good fit however waist kept slipping and i had to keep pulling them up. i read you are a family based company but was disappointed to learn the leggings are made in China..Your prices are high so i was surprised they were not made in USA. i try very hard not to purchase clothing made in China, therefore, i will not order any additional items from WoolX.

The fabric felt really great and overall I would say the fit was excellent. The petite length fit me well, I’m like 5’4” / 5’5”. However, the rise on these hit me like a mid rise not a high-rise, and they gave me an immediate wedgie in my crotch. This was true for the petite and regular lengths. Neither felt like they would stay up. Unfortunately, these were a return.

This is my second purchase from Woolx, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. I own a pair of black leggings that I absolutely love—they have a pocket that fits my phone and are perfect for airplane travel.
This time, I ordered gray leggings and a blue 3/4-sleeve merino top. They look great and keep me comfortably warm without overheating. Because they don’t absorb moisture, they stay fresh, allowing me to wear them several times before washing.

These are very nice leggings. I am sold on the wool. I have thick thighs and I have not experienced any pilling on the inside thighs of the leggings.
I have purchased the Stella leggings and the Piper leggings. I am 5'4 with an inseam of about 28.5"in.: I first purchased the regular length leggings and I had excess at my ankles. So I bought the petite leggings and they were perfect.
I walk a lot and it was really nice to be able to go out on a 45 degree day and my legs not get cold. And I can go out in a 65° day and I don't sweat.
These will be in my wardrobe for a long time!!

Love the Piper Pocket Petite in Cinder Melange--looks great with Edna in Cinder Melange. No need to hem these as I always have to do in the other non-petite leggings. I do not mind hemming, but it means I can wear them sooner when I do not have to hem them. Could not be happier with the pockets either--One for my wallet phone and one for my keys means I can go hands free anywhere! These are mainly a late fall to early spring wear for me here in middle Tennessee as they would be too warm the rest of the year. But for our cold temperatures, they are perfect.
