I have been on the hunt for a merino blend pant that I can use hiking. While these are not specifically marketed for hiking, they performed great! I wore them two days in a row (without needing a wash in between) for about 20 miles in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I paired them with a thin base layer for a cooler day. They went through rock scrambles, thick brush (no snags), and rough terrain. Even when things got sweaty, they dried off within minutes once there was a slight breeze. They felt very breathable and were not stuffy at all. Overall I’m impressed with the durability and functionality of these as a hiking pant. It helps that they have nice big, functional pockets as well! I ended up buying a second pair to switch off with.
They do feel a little different than a traditional merino pant, but that was a plus for use as a hiking pant. 100% merino would have snagged or ripped on the hikes I did.

I ordered a medium because those were my measurements. Had to give them to a good friend because I was swimming in them. Ordered an XSM and while it’s still roomy it fits ok. Still loose. I’m 5’2” and 118 pounds. 30 inch waist. But very comfortable even in warmer weather

I ordered an XS. The length and waist were ok, but the hips were way too large. There was a lot of extra space in the hip area. I am thin and do not have big hips. This pair of pants did not look good on me.

I orderred an XS in these even though I am often a small. (5 foot 5 and 120 lbs). They are short like joggers and seem that they might be great for paddling the kayak, as they are light and seem like they would be comfy. The waist is a good fit and they are lovely.

I like these but there's a few things that would improve them. The waistband tends to roll and the rise is a little short. Legs are long for me but the ankle cuff keeps them in place. The fabric is great - it's silky and doesn't feel "wooly" at all. As far as smell, they air out after a bit but not immediately. For travel, they're nice.

I bought the Palmer joggers but was so disappointed when I received them. The fabric is SO not wool and feels mostly nylon and polyester. If the proportions were reversed maybe, but still cannot imagine there is any wool in them. Also the hips and butt are are HUGE! I am returning them. I love all my other purchases from Woolx so this was a surprise.

I truly like WOOLX clothes But this fabric is just gross. Mostly nylon and polyester and will not breathe sounds loud. I jumped on these pants because I thought they were in petite length and didn’t really read what I was ordering. I should have read better. This fabric is in no way what I think Woolx is trying to be a brand for. It doesn’t breathe. It will sound loud when I walk. I can buy plastic pants anywhere. Please Woolx more wool 80% or pants in petite!!! Worn out with trying here. Close to going elsewhere.

These are my go-to pants wearing around the house. They are light weight (so don't keep me warm outside on these cold winter days) that I want to wear them every day when I'm home. I hang them up to air out each night and put them back on the next day. Since getting these, I haven't even pulled out my other joggers that I wear around the house.

I will consider this product in the future, but my first order did not arrive in time for my trip. I encountered an issue with USPS and a delayed delivery on my first order. Once I alerted Woolx Customer Service about what I thought was a "lost" order, they quickly sent a replacement via UPS. I can't really rate the product since I returned it without trying it on (no longer needed since I had already completed my trip). Great customer service.

Love the lightweight of these joggers. Actually couldn’t believe they were made with wool. Ordered a large I am usually a 10-12 and the sizing was an 8-10 or 12-14. Since I carry my weight in my waist I choose the L. After trying them on I am pretty sure I could have done a M. Waist had losts of stretch left and the hips and thigh area was loose.

These are great pants - smooth + comfortable. If I had one suggestion it would be to add cargo pockets. Traveling with cargo pockets makes it so easy to have quick access to your passport and mobile phone without having to open your purse or carryon.

I had to make several returns/exchanges as the small was slightly tighter than I like and the medium a bit too roomy in the seat plus one of the pockets stuck out strangely. The second medium was more uniform, but still fits rather poofy in the pocket area. I kept them, however as I wanted them for travel. The Palmers did an excellent long travel day(s) plane, then in and around the streets of Zagreb, and to dinner.

I had been wanting a pair of these pants for a long time and finally bought them. I had to exchange for a smaller size, and even the new size is still a bit loose in the hip/butt and upper thigh. But I think sizing down again would make them too short in the stride. I love the weight of these pants and can't wait to try them out on an upcoming trip.

I was so disappointed in the cut of these pants. The hips stick out like jodpers - no exaggeration. I didn't open them right away so couldn't return them. Instead I had to pay a tailor $40 to taper them.
They also have a significant amount of polyester - which I should have noticed in the fine print.
A year ago I bought them for my daughter and they had a whole different cut.

The pockets gap a bit and I’m hoping when washed and maybe pressed a little that will take care of it….otherwise like the fit and material.
Pockets don’t seem sewed properly and same on the first pair I tried, then exchanged thinking I needed to up a size.
If not remedied can I return even though washed?

I would give this 4.5 for 2 reasons: would prefer a thinner cuff (so wouldn't look too obviously like joggers) or elastic on just 1/2 of the cuff (for same reason). Secondly, I would have much preferred a real rear pocket as that is where I prefer to carry my phone.
But I knew these negatives before I bought, so can't complain too much!
I'm glad I purchased the Palmers as I wore them almost everyday on our 2-week vacation. The fit around the hips and legs is loose--thus perfect for the hiking/walking/biking we did each day. The fabric feels silky and breezy on my legs. Up to about mid to upper 80 temps was comfortable.

I love the fabric and how quickly these dry. However, there is way too much fabric in the hips and inner thighs to be flattering on me…and I have plenty in the hip area so they should fit me well. (I’m a Cassie girl for that reason). I washed them to see if that calmed things down in the hips as is the case with Cassie, but it didn’t help at all with the Palmers. Not everything fits every body shape and these just aren’t for me, I guess. Bummer, but now I know!

I wore them on a three week trip along with a pair of shorts. When I got home I washed them, it was great not having to worry about laundry. Not a smell or wrinkle.

I have never liked my appearance in a jogger, they always seemed to make me look wide across the hips, but after eyeing the Palmer since its debut, I decided to try it. I’m amazed at how much I like it! It’s flattering, I can secure my cell in the zippered pocket, the fabric is lightweight and it is very comfortable. It washed and dried effortlessly before wearing.
I’m 5’3” with an old lady’s hourglass shape and after reading the reviews, went with an x small. The waist is comfortably snug but not tight and there is not a lot of excess fabric in the hips and thighs. The length on me is probably long for a traditional joggers, but I like how it looks.

Purchased the Palmer Jogger in black, size medium. I am 5'6", 132lbs, 36D. Overall, the fit is okay. Length is okay but would prefer an inch or two longer. Waist is a little tight, but okay. Pants are a little baggy in the hip and buttocks, more than I like, but acceptable. Fabric is very soft and comfortable against my skin. Pants are very well-made.

I see many people love the palmers but they are not for me. I wear an xl or 1x in WoolX bottoms and am apple shaped. I started with a 1x that was comfy in the waist but way too big from the waistband to the hips. Exchanged for an xl and it was ok in the waist but still too big in the hips. I didn’t really like the material and it does swish when you move. I still they are worth trying and they are very light weight.
