I love the Sage! I have one in simply taupe. I gave it 4 stars only because I will have to have it altered, the sleeves and body length are crazy long. The fit and quality otherwise are perfection and the fabric is great. I don’t usually wear turtleneck tops but the neck on Sage is relaxed!

Wool X Remi shirts have been a staple for me for many years. As a horse trainer in the southeast, I can pull off layers through the day as it warms outside. Adding a ribbed turtleneck to the mix is a perfect complement for colder days. The shirt is beautiful and fits perfectly. The long length of Wool X shirts is perfect because they stay tucked in. I usually wear a small but tried the medium so the neck would not be too tight. It is perfect. Trading my parka for a blazer also transitions perfectly to a sharp look for dinner.

This was my second intentional wool purchase and I really like it! My only issue is that the neck feels a bit tight for me--I know it's a turtleneck but the ribbed fabric makes it more constricting. I'm happy with my purchase but after a few wears, not sure I'd order it in another color just yet. I live where it's winter 6 months of the year, so I expect to get a lot of use out of it!

The turtleneck is very soft and stretchy and seems quite comfortably warm, as it’s not very thick. It’s also nice and long and the neck doesn’t bind and isn’t skimpy. I’ve only worn it once and am concerned about some pilling that has occurred in other ribbed clothing from the company, but this has more merino content, so I expect it will be fine. So far, it’s lovely.

At first glance, I thought my ribbed turtleneck thin. Then I tried it on. I love the fit. A bit more snug + form fitting than my other pieces that I have, which I kind of like. It’ll be better for layering. But it IS thin. This is definitely a layering piece, and won’t keep me warm on its own in northern Wisconsin. That being said, I think it’s overpriced. However, I love how WoolX pieces hold their color and saturation. Hard to believe it’s that high of a percentage of wool and not more polyester. Not sure I’d purchase again.

For done inexplicable reason the Sage Ribbed turtleneck doesn’t warm me like the Peyton turtleneck style, which I love. The Sage Ribbed turtleneck works well if I wear something over it.

This order wasn't about the sweater, but about the service. I'd purchased the sweater back in the spring, but didn't get to wear it until months later. After only several wears, I noticed a bunch of pinholes/small tears in it. (I'd washed it carefully.) I contacted customer service and to let them know I was disappointed because I had invested in a premium piece. I included photos of the problem. Even though I was beyond the return window, they said that this wasn't representative of WoolX products and sent me a replacement. Sometimes it's not really about a problem, but about how a company responds to it, and this was a great response. Thanks!

I love my Sage turtle neck! It fits perfectly. I am 5’3” and I typically wear a 1x. I purchased a 1x. It is true to size. Looks great alone or paired as a base layer with another sweater.
This is not my first purchase of any woolx items. Would love to see this in a charcoal grey color.

The very first time I wore it, a huge hole formed—I think there must have been a small hole in the garment already, because I barely touched it as I put it on and the fabric separated. I’m really disappointed because I had bought this shirt in brown last year and it was one of my staples. The brown one doesn’t have any holes even after a lot of wear time.

Winter has hit our state with single digit numbers. I needed to consider options for increased warmth.
My daily walk with our German Shepherd now includes: Frost duralite leggings, Sage ribbed turtleneck, Stone Harbor Gloves and a winter jacket. Never a regret with Woolx products as they prove themselves in all seasons.
My journey with Woolx started with Piper leggings which grew from 1 pair to 4 pair of different colors. Love the pocket for the phone, leggings can be used for all activities whether it is for outdoor activities or going out to dinner. Well worth the investment!

Per usual, WoolX merino is the highest quality, softest, and most flattering out there, IMO. I love that the body and sleeves are plenty long for those of us with a normal or even longer torso/arms! The only reason for the 4 stars is because the neck is a bit tight/constricting. I see this in other reviews as well, so it’s not just me. I’m not returning, because I hope it’ll relax over time, but wanted to give my honest feedback.

Long and Short of it
I like the sweater but it's far too long, going past my hips. It would be good if you offered Petite Sizes that would fit shorter women. I wouldn't recommend the sweater for short people. I almost wish I did not purchase the two sweaters that I now have

It’s thinner than the Peyton turtleneck but still warm. Definitely a closet staple. I like that it’s thin and can probably be worn in more seasons than just winter. It’s kind of long on me which the Peyton is not so much. The sleeves and length of this seem longer. I’m 5’3” 118 lbs and got size small. I don’t like my shirts too tight or an xs might have fit better. It is still body hugging in this size.

This is wonderful and easy to wear comfortably. All my other Woolx tees are size large, but I did not want my turtleneck to have such a close fit, and so I decided to order it in extra large. It was the right decision. I’m happily wearing it alone as a nice top.
