2022 In Review

I think we can all agree that 2022 was a wild year. Like always, there was some bad, but we feel like the good outweighed the bad.

For us as a brand, 2022 was an exciting year. A year filled with lots of new styles and colors. New styles that have been some of our absolute favorites we've released to date!

The Sawyer Shacket was definitely the highlight of 2022 here at Woolx. Nicole, the founder of Woolx, had been dying to create a stylish merino shacket for women.
Even though shackets have been around since the 30's, they really started becoming more and more popular again in the last few years. We felt that it was finally time to get the ball going, and we were SO incredibly happy with how the Sawyer came out.

In the past year here at Woolx, we also spent a lot of time getting to know all of our amazing customers on a more personal level.
From the personal messages on our Instagram page posted by Nicole, to our beloved Friday Dance-Offs with Dom. We feel closer than ever to you all, we feel like family, and there's nothing better!

Outside of Woolx, 2022 was full of interesting events.

We all knew and loved Betty White, and even though her passing was devastating for all of America, it sparked something amazing called the #BettyWhiteChallenge. On what would have been her 100th birthday, over 390,000 people raised $12.7 million to donate to animal shelters and rescue operations across America in her honor.

Another exciting event that happened in 2022 was the milestone that the Irwin Family hit - saving their 90,000th animal! We all can agree that Steve Irwin was an amazing man and it's bittersweet to see that his family is still carrying on his legacy!

This is my favorite bit of news I heard last year, which is why I saved it for last! In California, the world's largest wildlife overpass is in construction as we speak. It is being built over a 10-lane highway and will be 210 feet long and 165 feet wide once completed. We are HUGE animal advocates here at Woolx, so we are so glad that the U.S. is making strides to provide more safety for wildlife in this ever-growing concrete jungle.
