"Most wool baselayers are 150g or 250g, but this one is 400g. It's definitely warmer. Very well made, plus I like the thumbholes to keep the sleeves from riding up when putting on outer layers. It fits fairly tight, but I wanted that so it would trap heat better. It's hard to find 100% wool baselayers--most these days are a wool/poly blend. This one is really excellent."

Perfect sleeve length!

This is an awesome base layer and can be worn as a normal shirt! The XLs sleeve length and torso length is great on my 6'5" husband. He is usually a L/XL depending on the sleeve length. I think I'm making him a believer in wool ;)

Great warm layer
